Weirds did some major work for me two weeks ago at my last FNM. He's like a funky combination of Stonewright and a Smiter.

We need to start developing a SB for All-in, does Weird have a place there, or is Reckoner a better weapon? (Basing that on the Reckoner is too slow for MB argument)

Oh how I love reading this thread every morning :)

Hello, fellow flamers (too gay?)

I got some sad news today. Our dojo will be shutting down for financial reasons. It's a 25 minute drive for me and there's a sister dojo that's about a 10 minute walk away from me so I'll probably transfer, but I'll miss all the folks I've been training with for the past 3 years. It's been like a second family.

Working from home today and between that news and this thread I'm having a hard time concentrating on work!

Day 17 of the Ham Challenge. I'm starting to change the way I eat. I'm eliminating soda, and trying to avoid bread and pasta. Beer is not something I want to give up, but I figure if I pick one night a week, I can get a really nice beer and not feel so bad about it. I haven't weighed myself, mainly because I don't own a scale. We'll see how I feel after a few weeks.

Also, happy birthday Z!

I failed the ham challenge on day 3 yesterday. Have been eating better for the most part this week though. Finding some things that are working out for me which will help me when I go grocery shopping this weekend to stick to it.

I didn't realize they were hard to come by?
Unfortunately, they are in my area. And I need them on a short notice, elsewise I'd just buy them. One store has 3, and the store I'm going to FNM at has 1, so it worked out. Part of the issue is that I don't have time to go through the big common/uncommon boxes the stores.

I completely missed the context of that post Kaze.

I was like "cake would be good right now..."

Sorry man, congrats on your upcoming nuptials.

Congratulations man! Funny story, before I got married my parents gave me such crap about collecting Magic cards. And then I paid for my wife's wedding ring with a stack of original dual lands. Mom, Dad, what where you saying about this being a stupid waste of money?

The world would never be the same if that ever happened.

The women of the area of the party would be ruined to all other men for decades to come.

I suspect it would be the other way around. After the Fires roll through town, normal men just won't seem as exciting. Maybe it's for the best that we aren't going to be concentrated.

Just another day at the office.

Also, the only reason so many of us were so unhappy in our marriages is because we just happened to marry crazy bitches... I mean, what are the odds that your woman is crazy too?

There can't be more than a couple dozen of them, right?

Just kidding. You're fucked.

I'm still partial to putting a number of Reckoners mainboard because he's still a late game threat. Frostburn Weirds is good against any aggro mirror for sure I want to bump it up to three.

In an RG shell, imagine attacking with him, bloodrushing Ghor-Clan, and pump him up with the rest of your left over mana.

What Strider said.

Woke up today with sore throat, congested head, and stuffed up nose. Damn you sister :flame:

In other news, I'm on her laptop and I discovered that when i opened up trice on here, it had all the decks saved from just before the WMC last year. My grixis deck was a beauty
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.
