I'm supposed to be spending time with my grandmother and instead she's asking wtf is wrong with me because I'm cracking up like an idiot.

Redthirst being the whole
clan made me thinking that everyone's a slim shady lurking.

Alex was a fucking disney prince.

Khaos had a 3some recently? That's cool.

And blah, blah, blah. I'll try to post a good pic of myself in the other clan soon. Soon being in probably 4 hours when my sis gets home because I'm computer retarded.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

I got ninja'd by ham!

Yes, it was ham's manly crank wearing that awesome split fedora. It not only stole everyone's body, but their hearts.

Yes, that's really him. He's got a link in his sig that has his full name...and if you Google it, he's ALL over other forums, where he also posts how into Magic he is, and there are pics...

His successful business? Selling internet marketing tools...yes, he's into a semi-multi-level marketing thing.

Opened a GTC box and pulled double Gideon. Not sure if I should be happy or sad about that. What deck would be able to use this walker. I know he should be better than Tibalt but I dunno...

On another note, the box was filled with Boros goodies. Sacred Foundry, foil Sacred Foundry, two Boros Charms, and a Boros Reckoner.

I've seen him in those Dega midrange/control lists...not sure how or why. Guessing he's used as a win condition or damage soak since he's mostly ignored

Hey guys,
I just wanna put out some of my honest thoughts right now in a post that might end up being badly organized and and maybe even downright stupid at points because I don't feel like thinking much right now.
First off, I want to join the Fires of Salvation. I don't know how that works, if you guys have to add me to some official list or something or if you guys just acknowledge me as kinda sorta part of your clan. I'm a user from MTGS (LiquidMagic), but I never joined Fires there because, well, I don't know and, as I said before, I don't feel like thinking right now. Saw that you guys were moving when I was looking at zem's post history to see why the fuck he got suspended this time, and in my search, became interested in your battle with the MTGS mods, and feel full sympathy for you guys. Since you are in the process of moving to the new site, I felt like it would be a good time to join. Might not have
time to be a really active member, but I think it might be good for me to at least have an account on here, and since pretty much all I did on MTGS was listen to the sage advice of FoS clan members about how to play MTG's best color, thin it couldn't hurt to join.
Also, where is the discussion that took place in the Standard Proven R/x subform going to happen now?
I really support you guys in your decision to move the forum to here (never really read it before today, but yeah, your reasons to leave all seem really valid, and this place seems like a much better fit for this clan, based on what I've seen). I'm gonna go to sleep now, and I'll see what happens when I wake up. Until then, good luck!

What are your numbers at Ham? If you're having any issues with recovery or loading let me know and we can figure out a solution.

> Christen; the Dega midrange decks with Gideon are WAY WAY worse than the versions with Obzedat and Aurelia :( The only people advocating for the Gideon version are Kamahl and his lackeys (they're garbo players FWIW)

Oh MAN...I had to wait until other folks left the room to read through today's posts because I'm flat LMAO. The whole shower discussion is pure gold...this clan is just flat comedic gold. Thanks for the smiles and laughs, guys...the endorphins are free-flowing now!!

I just posted what I hope is an interesting deck introspection over in the Aristocrats thread...I would appreciate throughts on it whenever you guys get a spare minute. That deck has had my attention for a while now, and I still want to find a means to max out the combo aspects of its since this meta seems open to lots of non-interactive direct damage.

I ain't jelly. I think it's funny and kinda awesome that you where a disney prince. That's almost as good an opening line as "Hi, I'm Zemanjaski. I tune all things red."

@ Z, I really want Dega Midrange to be better then it is. It's basically a jund deck without Thragtusk and cooler creatures which
has to be worth something. Olivia, reckoner, Aurelia, Angel of Serenity etc.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

The line is "Hi, I'm Zemanjaski and I am the best thing that hasn't happened to you yet". Don't exchange your name for mine, because mine is a brand and it works.

Dega Midrange actually looks pretty damn good IMO.

The problem I had with it in my incredibly small sample size of test games, was mulliganing and flooding. Because the deck has 26 lands and only looting as card draw, I found a lot of hands very borderline and it seemed like you really had to draw well to beat aggro. Some of the newer lists look a lot better, but I still find that the deck feels clunky. On the other hand, it feels more control then midrange as all of your cards are very powerful and mana dense(Seems like a more fitting term then mana efficient.
Expect to see me use it more).
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

I was testing a 25 land version, but I know what you mean. I was leaning on Dreadbore, Mortars and Temblor for early removal. Looting, Souls and Unburial Rites for the CA engine. Liliana as well. You certainly get to play a LOT of powerful cards.
