I cant speak for Bel, but I mainly am chiming in as when it comes to expressions, I really doubt the mods.

To explain:

Some time ago, in a game of mafia, I said "User X is a g". This got me a warning and was told to not call someone "gay." I said that my intention was "gangster" and I used urbandictionary to cite the definition. the mod refused to reconsider and I eventually went to another mod. That mod said the same thing.

Mind you, the user I said it to didnt see how the mods were getting that from what I said....

The reason I jumped into the discussion is that we have a user who used a saying, and got infracted for trolling for it, when it was not....

I dont want to keep seeing benign sayings be infracted.... and then not being overturned because of a technicallity.....
