Except their own?Probably a bad metaphor since FOSers don't get anywhere close to cherries.Alex is the cherry-picking poster FOS deserves, but not the one it needs right now.
In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.

Pretending Courser isn't a big problem for creature based red decks is just dumbExcept that it's not hard to kill the Courser in combat or just with a Stoke the Flames."Nice six damage, it would be a shame if my Courser of Kruphix gained me approximately ten life just by proxy of being awesome."
Standard hobos who play budget garbage should be looked upon with suspicion.

Pretending that you didn't pretend to insinuate it is dumb.

Magic Related:
I mentioned Red decks being weaker(on the small side) and that's because there where some innocuous but very real loses of power in our deck, mainly the 2 slot. BTE and Ash Zealot are basically the best Red Aggressive 2-drops of all time and we lost both leaving a very significant whole in our curve. On top of that, the lack of mutavaults makes flooding much more painful then before.
What this all means isn't necessarily that red is bad, it just means that it's much less powerful. Our red deck last format was actually VERY good because it was packed with very powerful cards. 2/2 FS haste. 2/2 CIPT dark ritual. 3 mana army in a can. Isamaru, hound of Konda. List goes on. Now, we're playing "normal" red decks again in a format that still retains it's very above the curve defensive 3 drops.
As a red mage reverting to playing "normal powered" red decks, to succeed, we either have to
go way under or way over. The small ball approach unfortunately got a lot weaker as well because we lose most of our good 1-drops and tricks as well(loyalists, cackler, makka, and mad-cap skill). We can try to go extreme Tom Ross levels of sligh which may be doable, or we can try going over the top. I like the later option. I'm a fan of doing something either with purphoros+cards that combo with purphoros or Fanatic. Fanatic appeals to me because when it's bad, it's at least a body, and when it's good, it's very powerful helping us retain our 4-5 goldfish. What's happened a lot while experimenting with red, I'll get a bunch of damage in early, then stall out. Well, if I'm stalling, the card I most want to draw is fanatic since it converts otherwise semi-dead resources into extra points of damage. Not only that, it makes Eidolon of the Great Revel playable again since the extra pip is important and the cards naturally work together well for closing out games.

You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.
Beatdown is hard, though.
