Hooting mandrils is actually very strong and potentially eternal playable. If you commune on 2, he costs 1 on turn 3. If you satyr wayfinder and hit, he costs 3, if you whiff, 2, and if you whiff+fetched, 1 again.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.
