Not sure if "Raid" will always be 2dmg or be based off the creature's power, or if other things change, but even though this particular card isn't great I'm hopeful about the mechanic as a whole.

note the creature needn't have done any damage and it doesn't even need to still exist on the battlefield in the 2nd main. Just if something attacked. Seems Raid has decent synergy with Rabblemaster.

First, I'm sure Raid will be all sorts of effects that are triggered under the same circumstance. Raid for blue might be drawing cards or green will be summon little saprolings or whatever. It will always be "if you attacked

Well, I think the mechanics are clan-based. So only Mardu colored cards will get "Raid." Sort of like guild mechanics from both Ravnica blocks.

Also, he's a mounted archer so I guess it makes sense flavor wise (the big butt).

yeah each clan is specific to wedge colors. I believe Mardu is WBR (could be wrong).
