For anyone wondering some generalized sealed tips:

17-18 lands
23-22 spells
6 non creature cards
17 dudes
14 CMC3 or 4

Anything over CMC5 or more needs to really add value to deck
Each targeted enchantment wants 4 targets to make sure you aren't drawing the enchant but no target
Your best cards may never get played. Bombs are useless if you can't field another 21 cards around them.

I shift the guidelines a bit by set but thats my general baseline.

I'm trying to decide between B and W for the pre-release. Both promos are great. Both have a pretty good selection of commons and uncommons. Removal seems to be a
little better in B (surprise, surprise).

Im going black for the better creatures and removal instead of tricks and bears.
Some men just want to watch the planes burn. . .and most of them are here.

I'll probably go B also. Tormented Hero, Mogis's Marauders, and Gnarled Scarhide at uncommon. Bloodcrazed Hoplite at common. Dayuuuuum!

So is godsend a combination of "god" and "send" or a combination of "gods" and "end"?

thanks to nbw for the sig.
You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

I'm willing to bet the latter based on the fact that it exiles creatures and doesn't allow you to cast any more of the same.

T-Minus one hour and counting until I get the hell outta Dodge. A 6-gang of 12's and Giants baseball await me. And after the kids are asleep, a bowl of Humbolt's finest and Arkham City GOTY edition. Then pre-release tomorrow morning. Things are looking good.

Disregard FNM, acquire beer and weed.
Weed AND beer? Not a good plan, but a lesson it is all stoner padawans must for themselves learn.

And why would either on it's own preclude FNM?
In my case it was: disregard FNM acquire poverty!
Disregard condoms, acquire.....oh, shit
Disergard ".....oh, shit", acquired Planned Parenthood.

May your plains be flatter
Your islands wetter
Your swamps slimier
Your mountains rockier
And your forests woodier

JunkConstellationNoRemoval.deck
Only running 3 non-enchantment creatures, golden hind, pharika's mender, and hero's bane. Loads of recursion and 2 [card]kruphix's insight[/card], and the rest is bestow and constellation. Surprisingly awesome for having no removal (okay I have an asphyxiate).

re: cardboard crack, it actually could be ok to funny if the author would stop using the 4 panel format and stop over explaining the fucking joke. Like the mindslaver one is close to reasonable if we cut a panel. Here's an easy one.

here's the original: http://cardboard-crack.com/post/82957809029/worst-fears

here's one without explaining the joke twice.

Image

Final panel still has too many words, but at least it's less awful. It could probably be just the China statement and it'd work fine.
I just thought the red one was hilarious since some one did a entire
article about how red decks used life total as card advantage and that strip basically summed it up in a few sentences.
I swear to God, every thread we make falls victim to Godwin's law except instead of Hitler it's redthirst's piece.

Played Kruphix, store up a shit load of mana. Play Colussus of Akros and monsterize the same turn. I lived the dream.

Did any of you guys ever give R/W devotion a serious try?
And more importantly could it be worth a second look?

Aside from that, how big do you think the new hexproof is going to be?

LGS owner wants to move up a tier at Wizards and needs to get 50 people to show up for a prerelease. Promises that everyone will get +3 boosters as prize support if 50 people show up. 74 people show up at the hole in the wall shop.

I open my packs, 1 rare is a legitimate bomb, the rest are standard side board cards or not playable. I manage to go 4-1 in swiss for 10th place, tie breakers kept me out of top 8.
