Ok, I lost in a game 3 to Esper. Most important lesson learned? 2 land opener that doesn't draw more land is terrible. The next most important lesson? Drawing literally 9 Mountains in a row is just as bad.

Whelp, gotta keep on keeping on.

Born of the Gods

Ephara :symw: :symu:
Phenax :symu: :symb:
Mogis :symb: :symr:
Xenagos :symr:
Karametra :symg: :symw:

Wizards continues to disappoint me. I want Iroas :( Mogis is the only one I'm even remotely interested in playing.
I hope the UB god is good. Wizards has a habit of printing shitty mill cards for UB.

Now, to find glasses with even thicker frames.

I lost to a PyroRed thread Lurker playing Walter White/Dragons.

I'm not sure that I could've played any differently, but I'm starting to notice that my deck likes to give me an obscene amount of lands in a row.

So, 2-2 and trying to keep my eye on the prize.

Coffee makes me poop.
At my usual LGS, there's a young kid (14 maybe) who likes to play with the older guys (30+). During a pre-release, the young kid asked about the surprising things that you learn as an adult.

Some answered wise words, some bitched about having to pay rent, but one of the guys dropped this straight-faced gem "coffee makes you poop". It's become a meme in my home, too. My girl likes to say it after we eat breakfast.

Coffee gives me migraines headaches. Caffeine is not my friend. If you jog a little in the morning and take a nice hot shower; it really charges you up.

To be fair, once you hit your late 30's, a lot of things make you poop.

You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.
