Yo, Zem, there's a guy at FNM that's playing Pyro Boros. He said he picked it up after reading your article.

That makes me very happy. I've got a few fb messages from people saying the same thing. Ill be talking to Andy about more work Monday, will report back how it goes. Apparently LSV, the content editor, saw no reason to make changes to the original, so that's a good sign.

If you're actually happy to edit my work I'd appreciate the help. I'm a stream of consciousness writer so having to structure my ideas slows me down.

I'd be willing to edit it. I do a lot of proof reading for people anyways. Plus, I'm unemployed so I have nothing better to do.

I heard he top 3'd FNM again, equalling his best ever performance. His relationship continues to suffer under the strain of his new found devotion to the clan.

I'll most likely be watching, but I'm sure nobody would appreciate the sounds of my demon children in the background. So no Skype for me. I better hear some hooch sound effects.

So, just got back from fnm tonight. 4-1 for first :D
Write-up is on its way in the pyro thread...

Also, guess what I played tonight? Fucking. Maze's. End.
And I whooped his ass 2-0.

And I love how nobody even commented on the Pip-fox-tail picture Zem posted o.o
That thing was awesome...

Zem knows we all think Pip is cute. No need to comment on how adorable that picture is. ;)

I just got back from FNM after a fairly disappointing 3-2 finish. I had to mull to three one game due to land screw, and I nearly won that game regardless. I did manage to snag a Stormbreath Dragon and a foil Chandra from trades, so it wasn't a total loss.

It's 7:10 AM here right now, I'm going to jump online around 9. The DEs are gone so I'm going to play in some 8 mans, not a lot of waiting around.

So, I didn't get to play Standard last night because there were 13 that wanted to draft and only 3 for standard, making a perfect 2 pods of 8. First time drafting Theros, and I ended up with this weird GW bestow deck with a small red splash for Portent of Betrayal. Highlight of the night: winning with a monstrous Colossus of Akros. Low point of the night: punting a really long game when I had lethal on board because I bestowed my Heliod's Emissary (which I assumed to give lifelink) on a Favored Hoplite (which I thought had Phalanx Leader's ability instead of on my unblockable 3/3 Hopeful Elodeon when he was at 5. Looking back, I can't see what in the world could have possibly made me fuck up this badly.

I forgot to add that I brought my Star Wars flask filled with rum to FNM last night, taking drinks in between rounds. I'm not sure if it helped my playing, but it made the night go by better. :D

@Freedom — People make play mistakes all the time. Try not to beat yourself up over it too badly. Besides, you recognized what you did so that you won't do it again. That makes you a better player in the long run.
