Depending on what we need to trade away to complete our decks, My SCG open deck will contain:

12 Meignaud Mountains.
2 Foil Fanatic of Mogis(1 English, 1 Japanese).
1 Foil Boros Reckoner
1 Russian boros reckoner which is exceedingly badass I must add
2 Foil Chandra, Pyromaster
1 Foil Nykthos
1 Foil Stomping Ground
1 Foil Frostburn Weird
2 Foil Hammer of Purphoros

And anything neat I can get my hands on between now and Saturday morning.

I just picked up about 8 more of those today. So....I now have 4 Modern decks featuring that Mountain.

I love that second Mountain in the links. It's the only one I liked from that set and I'm bummed I can't find any foiled.

I'm attempting to write a Modern Storm Primer, but I'm at that point where I just want to say "fuck it, I'm not gonna finish it tonight." I think I'm gonna post what I got and then finish it later while reserving like 2-3 post/pages.

I'm seriously in love with the deck. More now that I ever was.

Which makes me think that I'm the kind of guy that tries to turn a hoe into a housewife.

Hoes don't act right. And neither do decks that have key components banned. But I don't wanna quit it.

Khaos, between 8th and 9th edition they shouldn't be too hard to find. There are two 9th edition ones on Ebay, shipping is a little much though.

The joy in storm is finding the winning lines. It's intensely satisfying . Hence why I play ANT storm in Legacy.

Holy shit, I had no idea how much time 6 Goblin tokens would buy me, let alone how much damage that was enough to make a "non-combo" Grapeshot deal lethal after the few attacks I got in.

I just spent $20 on basics for an EDH deck that still wants a Sylvan Library, Genesis, Sneak Attack and Snapcaster Mage. Swag>function.

OK, LP (and anybody else who gives a shit), I posted what I already have for the Storm Primer in the Competitive Combo section in Scalding Tarn.

It's probably going to take me a few days (but still less time than it takes for Z to write his Chandra article), but, God's Willing, I should have a guide ready to take a newcomer into competitive territory, or at the very least, allow somebody to build and pilot the deck for testing purposes.

And if I lag behind, for the love of Purphoros, somebody get on my ass to finish it. I feel like I'm taking on a huge task here trying to do this, only because there is so much to say on this awesome deck (what it's capable of, the past bannings, the shell, moving forward, weaknesses, sideboarding, etc).

Which reminds me...I miss Christen. He was the only FoS member who actually had the crazy feels I have about Storm. Where has he been? Anybody have him on

Speaking of mountains, what about your favorite non-basic that has something to do with red? Mine will be this.

Because emergency colorless burn is win.

As for real life related, it seems like I finally get my just increment (Around 20% increase) for all my hard work.
