Special.

I'm not sure lawful neutral is 100% accurate for me, but eh.
Well, apparently I give off the impression that I'm out blowing shit up and shooting people for no reason, so
It's when you repeatedly say "I'm not crazy" more than 2 times in response to someone asking "are you OK" as I just asked this woman. I work at airport. On Monday I had a visitor wondering why planes were flying over their house. I asked where she lived and
her response was "I just moved in next door and keep seeing airplanes over my air space!". "What is number to the FAA to report them." She is terrified of these planes flying (landing) over her house.

I've learned that if someone has to keep telling people they're not _______, then that's a pretty good sign that they are.

"I'm not crazy."
"I'm not drunk."
"I'm not stupid."
"I know my rights."

Identity Nemesis [mana]1UU[/mana]

Creature - Merfolk Rogue

As Identity Nemesis enters the battlefield, choose a player.

Identity Nemesis has protection from that player. (This creature cannot be blocked, targeted, damaged or enchanted by a source controlled by that player.)

TvTropes lists Knight in Sour Armor as a possible example of neutral good alignment. Yeah, that fits.

"The world is filled with idealists who believe in truth, justice and all that stuff and devote their lives to fighting for it. And then the world keeps letting them down. For them, Being Good Sucks. But rather than giving up on their goals, they replace their shiny armor with full plate of pure cynicism. These characters realize they live in a dark, cruel and brutal world and choose to fight not because they believe they will truly make a difference, but because it's the right thing to do."

The way the reminder text is worded says it can't be blocked, either, but I don't think that falls under protection from a player. Clearly it does, based on how they reworded it, but it doesn't seem consistent with protection from a color.

It recognizes that any sources/permanents (creatures and Spells) from named player cannot target or block it. Simple and quite brutal when paired with equipment. Why can't red get this shit? It Kind of screams, "to the dome!".

It cannot be targeted by a source controled by target player.
It cannot be damaged by a source controlled by target player.
It cannot be blocked by a creature controlled by target player.
It cannot be Enchanted by a source controlled by target player.

It can still be effected by a source controlled by target player as long as the source doesn't use one of the above means (i.e. Wrath of God).
The way the reminder text is worded says it can't be blocked, either, but I don't think that falls under protection from a player. Clearly it does, based on how they reworded it, but it doesn't seem consistent with protection from a color.
It does. Protection from a color doesn't allow creatures of that color to block -
Protection from a player doesn't allow creatures controlled by that player to block.

Same thing.

Maybe it's that oh so sexy avvy?

Magic related. I had a UW player board in pithing needle against me and name Chandra. I won because lol UW but does anyone think it's reasonable for the control player to board in needle vs. Mono-red(hammer/Chandra being the only real targets). Theoretically, then can afford to go down a card, but it still seemed loose.
If you are running mutavault then needling mutavault is an okay call. I had one player needle chandra (and I wasn't even running her), then he needled mutavault, which is surprisingly annoying, and it forced me to just throw burn at his face. In another test they needled satyr, which was also really annoying, but made little difference. Ultimately we are not the deck that you need
to side needle in for. If you were running a member swallower variant, maybe hitting es is important, and maybe chandra, but ultimately neither is good cause to board in needle, but I have seen some control decks main deck needle since they otherwise board it in so often.

thanks to nbw for the sig.
You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

Needle -> Chandra is annoying as shit.

But if they're playing a do-nothing card in order to turn one of your cards into a do-nothing card then you're still coming out even unless you draw multiple Chandras.

Yeah, I was wondering really if the UW player SHOULD have brought needle in against me and since I drew a Chandra and still beat him, it seemed mediocre, but at the same time, Chandra is one of my 3 best cards against UW and needle's a 1-mana answer so maybe it's actually awesome vs. us?

Not that it matters in the big scheme of things because the match is highly favorable, just something I thought about.

It seems like a good tactic, since Needle effectively removes all of your Chandras while Hero's Downfall only removes 1.

In Modern, Hate Bears used Phyrexian Revoker on Chandra and Liliana (jund) on me game 1. Really annoying and random. There is more than just Pithing Needle to worry about.

While staying at Yellow Stone National Forest, an Oriental Couple approached the counter in front of us trying to book their room. The concierge asked for an ID and the Oriental male, in poor English pronunciation, said, 'Sorry, we only know "Beaver"'. I died laughing as the concierge was still looking mystified.
