Disregard signatures, acquire Mountains... for your signatures?
Well-played, ham...your sig says it all!

I had promised Suga that I'd hook him up, but I need to personally take a few weeks before getting back into sig design. I'm the lead photographer for our high school marching band, so right now I'm dealing with upwards of 2,000 images a week between football and competitions that I need to weed through, tweak and make Web-ready. Add that to having to be at all these events shooting, and I'm way short on discretionary time.

SM, as long as you don't mind waiting for me to get some breathing room, I got your back. LMK what images you want to pull in once things get going. Same to you, Kaze...I thought you were siggin' yourself so
I never commented.

Anyone else who wants a sig, I'm happy to help, but recognize that it's gonna have to be a "when I have time" thing. Feel free to PM me what you want--the more detail you provide the better--and I'll tag you back when I can work on things. By the same token, don't feel locked into waiting for me if you want to get sigs elsewhere...I'm being clear that my time is limited at present.

Everybody's popping up with epic signatures, and I'm just sitting here masturbatingwithout Photoshop. I need to update. >.>

Glad to hear stuff worked out with your girl by the way, Christen.

I'm pretty sure what Kaze meant to say was: fuck women and fuck you too.

*That's just a guess based on what I remember from being in Kaze's place.

I understand that the deck is not curve-driven, but I'm way too conservative a deck builder to be running a deck like that. I can imagine being in some sticky situations with two Swamps and a dual with no way to cast Anger when I need it, or two Mountains and a dual and no way to cast Hero's Downfall when I need it. Just not my cup of tea.
I'm not questioning your acumen, Val...your skills far exceed mine. But "conservative", "consistent" and "control" are not going to be shared descriptors for many (if any) decks for now as the card pool just ain't
there.
But that's the problem for me. I think the card pool IS there! Why Hero's Downfall over the two extra Dreadbore? I get the instant speed, but he already has a 3cmc answer in Anger that has strong mana requirements. Honestly with the deck built the way it is I see no need for Anger in the mainboard at all. With Read the Bones and Chandra in the deck he can easily 1-for-1 until he eventually overwhelms his opponent in card advantage. Throw in a couple of Doom Blades for easy removal and the deck is easily improved.

[deck]
Creatures (8)
3 Desecration Demon
2 Lifebane Zombie
3 Stormbreath Dragon

Spells (27)
3 Chandra, Pyromaster
3 Rakdos Keyrune
2 Devour Flesh
2 Shock
2 Doom Blade
3 Magma Jet
4 Dreadbore
2 Rakdos's Return
4 Read the Bones
2 Thoughtseize

Lands (25)
6 Mountain
8 Swamp
4 Blood Crypt
3 Mutavault
4 Rakdos Guildgate
[/deck]

Get on my level, Gerry Thomspon.

I am cool with that thing.

Provided there's enough booze.

There's only a few rules, mostly involving not crossing swords.

Comes with annhilator.

Double entendre!

Quickly brewed this for a back burner for a friend when LGS announced Thursday Night Standard 1ks. Deck tries to stay cheap yet synergistic.

[deck]Boros B Team[/deck]

Haven't tested yet. Pull up your pants and go is pretty much the deck theme. Instant protection to try and keep your pants on.

Clocks in right under $100. Drops by $80 if you go -4 Foundry -4 Temple +4 Guildgate +2 Mountain +2 Plains

Was thinking about Ethereal Armor but seems that the creatures that want FS have it, but I can see dropping it on a non enchanted heroic to get
+3/+3 for W if theres a mantle on the field.

Upgrades of adding Fiendslayer and Banisher priest down the road.

The miser's Faith's Shield in my Modern deck has led to many a blowout. Gods Willing has even more upside in a deck with only creatures.

You haven't lived until you've drawn a 2nd Koth, made a 4/4 Mountain, cast the 2nd Koth and swung for the win with two Mountains.
