Jews have the misfortune that the most offensive thing people tend to think of off-hand involves them in a fairly big way. As jokes tend to spiral quite easily out of control and towards ever more offensive subject matter, they are often the butt of them.

Note: Jews also have the misfortune of having been subjected to some of the worst atrocities mankind has ever seen

There's a whole string of those at the website I'm reading anti-joke chicken memes on. The punchline is so subtle they're adding it to everything, so you get stuff like:
