Good observation. I also think that most people on Salvation just generally need to be reminded that they are great card analyst, but hey. That thread is a hot mess.so you knwo that steam augury people were on the fence about
I think I need to once again remind that the other pile goes to the GY and not bottom of library
You don't have "miles" in the land down under?Your mikeage may vary.Is Grixis Delver featuring Young Pyromancer a thing in Modern? If not, do you think it could be? I may want to investigate that once I get my playset of Thoughtseize from Theros.

Same to you on Gyre Sage; for that matter, the caters to Evolve rather well in general. It would not be urealistic to pull the green ordeal off with Experiment One, though the fact that loltroll can protect himself makes him a relatively safer target.Eh. They seem fine to me. Red's would have to deal 4 of 5 damage for it to be playable, and even then it is questionable. Green is just strong because of context (Gyre Sage, Scoozy, etc.)
Ooh photo, good call on loltroll. That seems pretty sweet with either the green or black.
It will only get a counter if they respond to the burn spell with another spell that targets it. You can still respond to the heroic trigger, same as always.Good thing we have instants to shoot these things. Though with the Heroic trigger, it can still get the +1/+1 counter before a burn spell resolves.
Yeah, that Chimera totally changes things. Steam Augury got a lot more interesting. And Thoughtflare. And Izzet Charm...maybe there's a deck there.so you knwo that steam augury people were on the fence about

I was thinking of the tried and true tactic of shooting the creature out from under the enchantment before it resolves. For example, you couldn't kill the Hero with a Shock if they target it with an enchantment. ItIt will only get a counter if they respond to the burn spell with another spell that targets it. You can still respond to the heroic trigger, same as always.Good thing we have instants to shoot these things. Gods Willing is going to be magical in any Heroic deck.
I have a janky rules question:
Savageborn-hydra's ability says "only any time you COULD cast a sorcery"
if you have a Hypersonic dragon out on the field...
Can you add counter to savageborn any time, because you can cast an instant any time? >______>
Where do you see that?1RR: 3 damage to every creature at sorcery speed?
Is it real or are they kidding me?

Also, this lol:

I wonder what the card was? I mean even if it was a Mox / Lotus, I would sell that shit to buy a train ticket home...
