It was alright. The best part was watching parents angrily taking their little kids out of the theater because, apparently, the "R" rating didn't tip them off to the fact that Ted isn't a kid's movie.
Or the words "Seth MacFarlane" apparently.

I saw it at the theater. I enjoyed it, although I'm not a fan of Seth MacFarlane. There are very few movies I felt was wasted bucks when I watched them at the theater.

I used to go to the movie the movie theater all the time, but after seeing so many crappy films I just stopped. Now the only movies I went to the theater in the last 4 years have been marvel films. Last movie I saw was thor 2, and before that ironman 3. Netflix has filled the gap pretty well.

I went 27 times (25 different movies) to the theater last year, not a single crappy one. Although I have a very broad taste when it comes to movies, and I have a few trusted reviewers that I know share my views of movies. So I can easily avoid stuff I would find crappy.

Right, I remember that now. When I was putting together pauper faeries online I avoided it, and ran briarberry cohort in it's stead.

When I saw Ted, there was a hundred year old couple sitting in front of me that didn't laugh once, and stayed for the whole thing.

Best two strategists are both mtgs exiles. I'm sure the delicate sensibilities of now inactive scrubs (sorry, former PT plYers) were really worth protecting.
Good. Your ass getting banned is the only way I'm not going to get curb stomped in the voting for best standard strategist... in fact, what did I ever do to piss off that one guy that nominated me?
If FOS guys abstain it's probably pretty even. Unless the Gaymers get involved I guess.

Well I'm glad one of us had some good news today.

Maintenance guy came by the house and I don't know what his problem was but this is the second time he ended up screaming at my wife about something while nobody else was home. So tomorrow I'm going to call the landlord and hopefully what I say to him won't get me evicted.

Seriously though, no blood clot is excellent news.

It's pretty good in in non-ninja faeries, if for no other reason than to pump spellstutter sprite's etb. It's not like faeries doesn't run a ton of 1/1s, though having played it a few times I will say that when I am the aggressive deck I much prefer briarberry cohort for the extra power (plus in games against creatureless decks or hexproof I can
use briarberry to "cycle" peppersmoke, since it's the only creature with toughtness greater than one that I am running), but from a defensive position the spellstutter sprite thing is often very relevant. The only reason that the ninja version works is because it gets a second counter from spellstutters or another draw from latchkey faeries, but either way the ninja of the deep hours then becomes a useless 2/2 99% of the time, because he's not getting through again.

Yeah, I agree with everything you've said. The issue is that at some point your competent opponent resolves a x/2 flier and all your hard work is undone.

And yeah, the Ninja version is actually awful. I like your UB version or just the straight 23-4 land version with Mulldrifter and Spire Golem as the best MUC variants.

Also, why the fuck do people play Brainstorm in Pauper? It is terrible. Preordain is the best, Ponder second (Ponder really wants a shuffle effect). Brainstorm is awful in Pauper; all of its drawbacks are amplified by the low power of the format - Brainstorm is at its best when it is getting rid of an extra Emrakul or finding your storm win-con; not when it is finding you an extra counterspell.
