Damn! I'd have gotten you a shirt before tomorrow if I'd remembered...
Eh, don't worry about it, I wasn't expecting it to be here in time anyway, even considering proximity. Speaking of proximity, sometime those of us in the general area should meet up, hopefully in stl as I don't have a car.
How does one meet people of the opposite gender?

It's been years since I've been single. I've forgotten how to female.

i'm being totally serious

Pretend to be gay. Seriously if women think they can't get you that's exactly what theyll want. Do you know how many offers to be "turned straight" i've been offered? And I'm not so 100% gay that I'll always turn it down (just most of the time). Fags are like catnip to straight women, just don't over do it, you want to hit that classy "maybe they are maybe they aren't" type of gay, as going too flamboyant will put you in a very awkward version of the friendzone.

You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

I'm not the model of normal in that regard. Seven years ago I went to the strip club to pick out the one I wanted to take home and nail, then she never left. Two months ago I married her.

What Zem said, though. Sorta. Just make friends with them. That, traditionally, comes first. And after that there's either chemistry and you might be able to date, or there isn't and you don't, but you are still friends with a hot girl. Which is also awesome.

I realize that's probably not helpful. I'm trying not to just give you platitudes.

I need a medium to do these things. I have no trouble actually getting with people once I know them, it's just finding them when I'm out of school and currently unemployed that's giving me trouble.

Probably not going to be unemployed for much longer, by the way. But the job is in a kitchen at an assisted living complex so that doesn't really help my issue. Unless I were into ancient people.

Go out with friends to things you like: live music, shows, sport, bars, conventions, whatever.

Trying to force it is riddled with danger. There is no place that "nice girls go". If you hang around with nice people a d are yourself nice, you'll find them everywhere. If you see a cute girl, your eyes cross and she smiles, then go talk to her. There's not much more to it than the law of large numbers.

Only Baby Eating Dingos, Funnel Webs and Red Backs (which app. invaded Japan) I'm afraid.

EDIT: Johnny_Spike is that true Australian Red Backs infested some Japanese parks at one stage?

Talking to them is a different story. I like to pick the cutest cashier and flirt with her. If it goes bad, I'm already on my way out the door anyway.

Well I suppose cheesy would be appropriate since you'd be saying it in the dairy section, but how 'bout you never mention you're divorced unless directly asked.

But if you're gonna flirt with a cashier, make sure you dont have any incriminating or embarrasing items to be rung up. Like rope, duct tape, condoms, and a hatchet. Or do it anyway and pretend you're Christian Bale from American Psycho. Bonus points for asking if she's into Huey Louis and the News.

I'll repeat after other Redbros - school and job are the most normal places where you can meet your potential gurl. Also, try to attend from time to time in some cultural events. Band you l like plays in your town? What's most important - you will actually have fun, but attending there also increases your chances.
All you need are places where talking (even shitty small talk) is something normal. And be cool. Not 90' cool with skateboard and shit, just chilled out. Show them respect, but make sure that they should be grateful to you for talking to them... dumb cunts.

Actually last years of my contacts with women turned me into terible shovinist. That's what they wanted. Most of girls at my age (23) are shredding their ideal prince to pieces and want the worst/wurst*. They don't want those calm eyes kindly looking at them, they want to get wasted and fucked. Especially now since that fucking grey thing became mainstream.
nAnd I'm actually talking about that when I love women. My best friend is a girl. I love talking with her, when I started meeting her at school she wasn't cute enough to actually grab my attention as a woman. And even this girl as she's really, really smart and wise in terms of things, sometimes just wants to get fucked.

SO YEAH ABOUT THAT SECRET: YOUNG WOMEN LIKE TO BE FUCKED, NOT SURE ABOUT THE OLDER BUT I GUESS THEY WANT THE D AS WELL.

To those redbros on verizon, the free tablet (verizon ellipsis 7) deal is still good through Sunday. It's not the best tablet on the market, but free is the right price. Do note as well that the device is wifi and 4G lte only., so if you don't get 4G in your area it's effectively wifi only. If you have a shared data plan you don't even need pay for the data.

I went 6-0 at my local FNM, which was Modern night. Wanted to challenge myself by making my standard mono-black into modern. Phyrexian Obliterator and Bloodghast have apperantly been forgotten. My fnm is not that competative in Modern, but a few decks were interesting. My deck worked flawlessly and phyrexian obliterator had 2 burn decks banging their heads (they did not know how to play burn...BAD). The funny match was against an old friend of mine using his glimpse deck (mill deck). Milling 4 bloodghasts turn 2 was not on his approval list. He did it both games. Most of the players there are idiots as they trade modern staples for standard shit.

We cooked Turkzilla. Found a 28 pound bird and accepted the challenge. It would not fit in the oven, thus we dug up a large cedar tree which creates a perfect pit to roast the bird. Lets say we are eating turkey for the next 5 days and have horrid turkey farts.

As to the
commentary on looking for woman. If you want skanky, Krusty the clown's kids; Go with Kaos' plan. As a side note, never pick up dates at work. Bad idea...Gibbs rule...period. I like the smart ones (don't know why) and hit social events such as plays, movie theaters that play lesser known new films (example is "Moon" and I ignore most of them) [Kaos, porn shop movie theaters don't count, just messing with you], and foody events (hate the food bad though, but must sacrifice for the cause). If you have a target female psychi in mind; go where they go. Think like the great hunter, not the itching scavenger.

Although, I'm a firm believer that if you're looking for a relationship, then just stop. Seriously. Every major relationship I've had happened naturally when I wasn't looking. I was always just focusing on myself and trying to stay happy.

If you're looking for a piece of ass, then just go to the bar, talk to the chicks that smoke, have tattoos, and are maybe wearing a cross pendent or something. The more drunk they are, the better. And remember, ass is the new vagina.

You must have nice looking girls at your grocery store, cause the one at my stores need rabbies shots. I am not kidding about Krusty the Clowns kids either. The worst can be found in what used to be called Supper S (now lowes). Is there a smily puking for this?

It is true that natural relationships happen at random moments and/or places. I would not overthink it, but getting out of the house and places where no woman goes is your best bet.

I don't recommend going to Wal-Mart. But places like Publix or Sweetbay are about 50/50 hot chicks to ugly chicks. . But then, the fact that I live in Florida may have something to do with this.

Waitresses are my personal favorites. I'm a sucker for a hard-luck story.

But as Khaos said, if you concentrate on you being happy, you're more likely to run into someone with the same kind of interests/lifestyle that you develop. And you're what, 20 something? No need to mention being married before.

Khaos, Florida is a different world :P

I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.

Damn! I'd have gotten you a shirt before tomorrow if I'd remembered...
Eh,
don't worry about it, I wasn't expecting it to be here in time anyway, even considering proximity. Speaking of proximity, sometime those of us in the general area should meet up, hopefully in stl as I don't have a car.
StL is central, AFAIK. I live about as far away as Windstrider and Photodyer do, but in the opposite direction. Who else is midwestern?
I live in nebraska, in the center of it anyways
Geographically yes, adjusted for population density st. Louis is pretty much the center.
It's more ore less KC if we include Tube, but he doesn't drive either right now so that's moot.

We need an FoS Midwest shirt. It'll just be an ear of corn. :/

"Join us. We
have popcorn."

Or "Is this an oppressively humid midwestern summer? No! It's the Fires of Salvation."

Kaze, have you figured enough shit out from your previous relationship that you're comfortable moving into a new one? Or are you just trying to fill a void? In my experience the latter doesn't lend itself to finding healthy new relationships.

Thanks to NerdBoyWonder for the amazing sig!
Son, I want you to know that no matter what happens between your mother and me, it's all your fault.
