Is this a troll post? 40% of your lands CIPT in an aggro deck is NOT okay.

Well when that day comes ill reasses my game plan but i do have 12 mountains and i really only need one land in the first two turns of the game anway. Also I never troll post and if I ever do you will know it.

Alright. I think it would be more advantageous to skip on the Lavamancers and cut Searing Blaze for Searing Blood (like what Khaos said he'd try a few posts earlier) rather than use a fucked up mana base, though.

Exactly this.

Terramorphic Expanse =/= Scalding Tarn.

ok well i cannot afford scaldiing tarns and arid mesas so what do you expect me to do roll over and die to an opponenet with superior cards? Im trying to lose the least amount of games for the cheapest price and so far ive been happy with it for two daily events in a row. I always come to the table with personal play experience not wild speculation. Also im seriously done with this thread if every time i post something i get completely disrespected. Its not something i will persoanllly tolerate. I come here to share my experiences and become a better player not to argue over who is right and who is wrong. If you dont like my card choices its ok to point out where im lacking but being rude helps noone; not you, not me, and certainly not anyone visiting this thread.

In the beginning I did just that. I still think 3 lavamancers is ok even with no sac lands since it does allow us to play the long game when needed. Every time I had a searing blood I would have been much farther ahead and would have pulled out a few games that I did not if it were searing blaze. Searing blood is just seriously underwhelming, true its still a good card but it doesnt help kill 4 toughness creatures with mogg fanatic which im considering going back to.

I would run no more than two Lavaman with no fetches.

I think the problem is that this thread is in the Competitive section, where you should assume you have access to all the cards when designing and discussing decks. Evolving Wilds/Terramorphic Expanse don't belong in a competitive deck.

If you don't have fetches, then by all means use what you have and are comfortable running in your deck instead of them. But that being said, I think that in the long run with a deck like this and without fetches, it's better to run a variant with mostly basic lands and maindeck cards that don't require fetches to work optimally.

Running terramorphic expanse is worse than just running basics.

It probably should be VD. But it could've been a typo. I got it from the list of winners on the Mothership (GP coverage).

Yeah, the robots mu is pretty much a free win and Tron is an auto loss (and also not that prevalent), so any kind of artifact destruction is really only needed if you want to answer some of the opponent's anticipated sideboard cards (really only spellskite now, and maybe batterskull).

To be fair, the Tron match was grindy in game 1. In game 2, I Molten Rained a Tower and landed a Blood Moon FTW. In Game 2, Mogg Fanatics and Molten Rain did a lot of work.

I lost to Pod in Round 3. I was stuck on 5 lands and needed 1 more to turn my Figure into a God (I'm doing the 3/1 split on him and Lava Man). The dude landed an Archangel and wrecked me. Game 2 was bad news for me when my opener was 7 Mountains. My next hand was 6 action cards, no land. I kept a great 5: Guide, Lavamancer, Blood Moon, a Mesa, and a Mountain. I never drew another land and he was able to combo out with Melira/Seer/Finks. Sad face.

I like 3 lavamen more than 4, but Figure might not be the best replacement for that slot (I don't like that our bomb dies to Path and Abrupt Decay). I'd really like to have an efficient 2 drop in that slot (Keldon Marauders or Stormblood Berserker).

He's flood insurance and I like him better than a 4th Lavamancer. Here's the thing, the deck is so overloaded with threats like Lava Man, Shrine, Vexing Devils, Guides, and Eidolons that their removal can get maxed out. He's a 1-of because, well, I think he's only good enough for a 1-of.

@Khaos: After playing Levy list, how do you feel about Blood Moon vs Extra LD (I'm looking at Cryoclasm mainly) for the Online Meta game?

On that note: someone lead me 2x Blood Moon for 2-3 days please :)
