When I Can Eat Real Food Again...

What should I eat? I had oral surgery a few days ago and it has been awhile since I could eat something "real". First thing I'll probably do is order a stupidly unhealthy cheeseburger, but what I really can't wait to do is cook something! I know we have a diverse palate here, so I'm open to any suggestions. Could be something I might not have ever had, or just your own take on a popular dish... Anything as long as it's good.

I'm not picky about stuff being spicy either. In fact, it's a plus.

Thanks in advance!

Menudo.

Kind of an acquired taste but yeah, it's great.

If you don't want to cook that...Frito Pie.

Steak is good if you don't mind splurging a bit.

Menudo sounds really good, I will definitely be giving it a try, thanks! It's been awhile since I had a frito pie, too

That may have been the most amazing food I've ever discovered via search engine.

Mmmmm, it's been too long
bacon cheeseburger, or a nice ribeye
This is the first thing. I have a follow up appointment with my dentist today and there's an amazing little burger place near it. If I get the ok I'm going to risk injury and financial hardship to make it there as fast as I can.
Garbage plate. Mmmmmmmm...
Googling... This sounds amazing. I love casserole type dishes.
Vietnamese spring rolls. Not the fried stuff.
Another quality suggestion

Just found out it will be at least one more day before I get the green light to eat whatever I want. It's only going to make that burger that much better... or at least that's what I tell myself. #fwp

Get a good burger or curry with fresh naan. Best fresh bread ever.
