Hi,
found this forum randomly and it seems more laid back compared to other mtg communities.
i played mtg starting at arabian nights and played to stronghold, then took a hiatus until last week when my fiance and i picked up some duel decks randomly and i taught her to play.
Now im teaching her the more advanced parts of mtg, while trying to figure out the new mechanics that have come out since i've played.

So, in closing just wanted to say 'hey' so...hey

What's up, dude. Stick around, I think you'll like what Fires of Salvation has in store for this forum. ;)

My guess is it has something to do with fire. Just a hunch, though.

Salve isn't ONLY good for burns. It also makes an excellent lubricant, and the menthol provides a delightfully stimulating tingle.

It is, and it's not badly situated in the current metagame either. Watch your sideboard carefully and you will be well rewarded, I warrant.

By the way is your custom a reference to Johnny Cash's a Boy Named Sue, Bhikku?

yeah im seeing that from what i've gathered from the *ahem* other sites.

Other sites have been around longer and have more traffic, but from my experience that simply translates into more bs you have to sift through to get any legitimate information.

exactly, i'll take quality over quantity any day.

Yup. Both is preferable and what we're striding towards, but we'll never be one of those sites that values hyperactive posters over good posters.

yeah its important to put content before bulk when it comes to forums, or you end up burning yourself up and dropping posters.
