check the app out on facebook, it is like fantasy football but for the upcoming pro tour, you pick cards in a series of catagories that you think will see play in winning decks

Pick Jund cards. It's not the best deck, but it will be the most popular. FPT is all about picking things that will show up in numbers, not about metagame breakers. Even if you pick a breakout card it likely won't be in that many lists.

i think i could be considered good. just not nearly as informed as phantomo.

anyways, pick snapcaster probs

I have Delver as my little man. It's possible Snapcaster is a better call.

is it anything like legacy where people are discovering snapcaster four of is no ok? or are people still jamming all of him?

i kind of want to pick delver so i can cheer him on after the hate they printed in rtr.

but if im on the jund plan would tarmo be better?

imopen is ptlm.

pick tarmo regardless. if any G/X deck show up, they'll be packing goyf.
slam 4 SCM anyway, U/X decks (sans twin) are playing four of him.

You don't pick Tarmo just because you're green. The only green decks that play him are Jund and RUG Delver. He's not in the Melira decks and I don't know what the fuck else you'd be doing with green cards. Shitty aggro loam I guess.

There's a UWR Delver deck and RUG Delver deck, and both are pretty solid. The UWR deck had a very good showing in Columbo.

The question then, is will Jund be more popular than UWR Delver? Probably. Will it put more decks in the top 32/64? I don't think so.

I guess Tarmo is in Shouta's deck, too. Who knows how popular that will be.

i'm pretty sure those are the most common cards in the entire modern format.

you also have liliana as most common planeswalker overall, though she's not that common outside of jund. if you want to do the opposite of phantomo's advice, pick jace as your darkhorse mystery planeswalker pick.

also pick verdant catacomb because that land is in almost every deck.

You get one small creature (0-2) and one medium (3-5 I think). So you can't have finks and geist. Finks is the right call I think.

Mostly I agree. I have Serum Visions as my sorcery.

Scalding Tarn is a more common land than V-Cat, I believe.

I was going with your Jund theme, but Scalding Tarn is probably more common overall.

we still don't have a large creature or enchantment or tiebreaking pro tour player

Seeing as how Detention Sphere is seeing Legacy Play, is that a good choice here?

emrakul.

idk what constitutes a big creature because i don't fantasy anything, but if not primeval titan, than emrakul. if the rating is by copies played, prime time.

there's d-sphere, prismatic omen (because valakut is unbanned), and ???.

oh, splinter twin. that's a real card they printed i guess even if kiki/resto is the new hotness.
