The "Dude you have to hear this" Thread
Tea Leaf Green
a friend of mine showed me these guys a couple years ago and they shuffled into my headphones during a bike ride. I forgot how awesome they were at the whole jam band thing. The piano player, who is also the singer, has a lot of talent and a great voice.

If there's only one Sublime song on the list, I would take either "Don't Push","Work That We Do", or "Cisco Kid" over 40 Oz. That's just me though.

Pure mistake on my part, Kaze...I prostrate myself in apology.
You left out all my contributions. Including Duran Duran - Rio.
I see nobody values me or my opinions.
I will have to look back at the thread as I don't know how I missed yours, except for the Duran Duran which you posted after I had pulled everything to a spreadsheet and I never went back after it.
Sorry again!

Not just Tool, but Deftones (Adrenaline and Around the Fur) and KoRn (self-titled, Life is Peachy, and Follow the Leader)I liked Sevens more than No Fences when it comes to full-album playthroughs.
Skrillex- My Name is Skrillex
...and I absolutely cannot believe you don't have:
Tool- 10,000 Days
Tool- Aenima
Tool- Undertow
on there.
Also, Limp Bizkit's 3 Dollar Bill is an excellent album.

I saw Trivium's Shogun on the list, but Ascendency is another one of their albums that is just flat-out fucking amazing.
Also, Black Label Society's Mafia album is nuts. Order of the Black is up there too.
I'd also like to add The Misfits' American Psycho and Famous Monsters album. Michael Graves was the shit.

Most of the songs/bands suggested here remind me of the lyrics to "Hell of a Hat" by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. So my suggestion is:
"Hell of a Hat" by: the Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Bonus suggestion: "Gonzalez, the Explosive Chilean" by Mischief Brew and Guignol

That list has Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers yet doesn't have blood sugar sex magic, I am disappoint
The World/Inferno Friendship Society - Addicted to Bad Ideas; A concept album about the life of peter lorre (an actor), bit hard to describe but it's a really catchy album.
Also, it cannot be overstated, the full length version of The Perfect Kiss by New Order is the fucking nut high.

A few more "mainstream" titles:
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium (though, as whole, Jupiter is much better than Mars)
Rush - Moving Pictures
Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace
The Offspring - Days Go By (although OC Guns is sometimes skippable)
The Offspring - Americana
Streetlight Manifesto - The Hands That Thieve
Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill
Rise Against - Endgame

Despite being an Iron Maiden Megafan, I don't think this is even among the top 5 Iron Maiden albums to listen to this way. Invaders and Gangland both detract quite a bit from the overall listening experience (at least to me). Surprisingly (to some), their latest effort, TheIron Maiden - The Number of the BeastWe had a running discussion a few weeks back over on MTGS about albums/CD's that you could pick up and listen to start to finish. Final Frontier, is quite the listen beginning to end. Powerslave is another one, along with Piece of Mind.

The Final Frontier, while different from their other stuff, was a great album. When the Wild Wind Blows is such an awesome track.
