Ire Shaman [mana]1R[/mana]
Ire Shaman can't be blocked except by two or more creatures.
Megamorph [mana]R[/mana]
When Ire Shaman is turned face up, exile the top card of your library. Until end of turn you may play that card.
2/1

Rules question: if I morph this during my opponent's turn and exile a creature/sorcery the time I can cast those didn't change so I basically just exiled them without a chance to cast them, save other shenanigans. Right?

That is correct

I actually think this cycle is a little bonkers. The green one is probably the least powerful (since 5 for eternal witness isn't the best), and this one is probably the most since it's the only one that scores you a whole card every time you unmorph it.

Good job wizards r&d team.

This guy seems pretty good. I like it. Better than Dragon Whisperer? Probably not.

It's an evasive 2-3 power creature that requires 0 additional mana for evasion and provides a full card of value if you have other 2-drops in hand to allow you the curve to go 1-2-3, unmorph+spell. I honestly think, given the current state of red decks in Standard, that this is better in those decks than the Shaman.

It's only worse in the late game if your opponent has multiple creatures to block this, and the decks that (generally) have that kind of board presence are generally Flying Deathtouch Insect token decks that would be able to block and kill the Shaman as well.

To paraphrase a scholar from elsewhere on this site, it goes under a Siege Rhino. And that's the greatest gift of all.
