I wake up mornings in a cold sweat. In my dreams, there's a vision—a premonition that the second coming will come. Of what? Of a strictly inferior reprint of the Visions tournament staple Impulse. These nightly whispers tempt and taunt me. They haunt my dreamscape with an unavoidable reality: that a bad version of the card Impulse may never come to pass. I wake each morning, distraught at what the mechanations of my subconscious bring me in those twilight hours.

But the age of those eventide temptations are over. Wizards has answered my seminal ponderings. We are here. The age of a suboptimal Impulse is on us. And in its wake, finally we are blessed with Anticipate. I can hardly hold back the longing of my anticipation for it.
