Vintage Super League

This thread is to discuss the Vintage Super League. For those who may not have heard of it, here is some background:
In August Randy Buehler started broadcasting Vintage Super League (VSL) games via his twitch channel. VSL is a group of hand-picked players who smash Vintage decks against eachother each week for 9 weeks plus playoffs at the end. They are broadcast live starting at 7pm PST each Tuesday. Here's the current roster:
Pros we've heard of:
Randy Buehler
Chris Pikula
Eric Froehlich
Tom Martell
Luis Scott Vargas
Josh Utter-Leyton
Bob Maher
David Williams
Vintage Specialists:
Stephen Menendian
Rich Shay
They know each of their opponents ahead of time. They're allowed to change decks weeks 1, 4, and 7. So weeks 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and 9 everybody knows both who their opponent is and what they're piloting. But for those change weeks, including the first week of the format,
you're meta-gaming against your 3 upcoming opponents. Even though this could lead to some inbreeding, the deck choices have so far been somewhat varied:
Weeks 1-3:
3 Merfolk (Randy, EFro, Dave Williams)
1 Shops (Terra Nova) (Chris Pikula)
2 Gush Storm (Tom Martell and LSV, with LSV's featuring YP$)
1 Oath (Bob Maher)
1 Doomsday (S. Menendian)
1 Control Slaver (Rich Shay)
1 Baubles Storm (Wraptor)
I haven't yet watched week 4, though it's been played and players have chosen new decks. Randy set up a website to log everything. From here you can see the league setup, the decklists, and can be linked to his YouTube channel with each week's footage: http://vintagesuperleague.com/
Even if you're not familiar with the Vintage meta game, these are fun to watch. As you can quickly tell, there is a sharp divide between the knowledge of the pro/HOF players and the Vintage aficionados. That said, the coverage has
been getting better each week as they learn more about their decks, those of their opponents, and the format as a whole.
This thread is to discuss anything related to VSL. I'm hoping there are others on the site interested in this.
