The changes I made too Hock's list was the inclusion of 7 fetch lands (I didn't want to run the 8th land since I'm not on the grim plan) I also chose to run 4x Scalding Tarn because more decks are on UR then WR so you can give them a false start sometimes

SB'ing theory:
(I'll keep updating this slowly if anyone else wants to give Modern Burn a shot (I should also mention that it cost less then 70 online if your not running fetches)

Fetches in monoR feels very self defeating, I find myself taking 2-3 damage over the course of the game which just makes me wonder why I don't just splash another color... but at the same time it makes Searing blaze so good

I wish we have another alternative too blaze which is good vs Junk/Rock/Jund.
