Might develop it later if others interested.
Ok so first decklist:
[deck]1 drops:
4 Experiment One
4 Soldier of the Pantheon
2 drops:
4 Fleecemane Lion
4 Voice of Resurgence
2 Skylasher
3 drops:
4 Boon Satyr
3 Banisher Priest
2 Brimaz, King of Oreskos
4 Drops:
4 Advent of the Wurm
Tricks:
2 Gods Willing
4 Selesnya Charm
Manabase:
4 Temple Garden
3 Temple of Plenty
8 Forest
8 Plains
Sideboard
2 Unflinching Courage
2 Mistcutter Hydra
2 Glare of Heresy
2 Skylasher
2 Rootborn Defenses
2 Polukranos, World Eater
1 Gods Willing
2 Last Breath[/deck]
Ok here is a deck I copied from last 3-1 or 4-0 to try something new. I had a lot of experience playing agressive green decks from before (deck without lot of removal but with big bodies plus tricks) so felt comfortable to just jump into 8 mans with copied decklist.
Here was my thoughts:
Manabase seems shaky sometimes,
you basicly need double green and double white at all times, but nothing can be done here. Cards are too color intensive so no spot for mutavaults, no need for 4rd Temple as deck likes to curve out, however other lists run 4. Had some games when I was mana screwed as you have a lot of ways to use excess mana (mistcutter hydra, bestow, ooze etc)
Gods Willing is amazing, probably better than Brave the Elements (protects experiment 1 and wurm token).
Was really impressed by Brimaz, Banisher priest and Boon Satyr. One is 1 man army, other acts as removal/tricks. Same can be said about selesnya charm, that in addition exiles gods and polukranoses.
SB is really meh. I know I want 9 cards vs conrol but dont really know what to take out. Lost 1 game to double Archangel of Thune, I think it needs 3rd Glare of Heresy. Here I need to ask Keit what cards you hate to see from that kind of deck and would love to work with you somehow.
Polukranos in sb seems strange, it is for agressive decks + mono blue as
another way to kill master (other than last breath), might move to sb.
Unflinching courage as always seems exceptional vs agressive strategies.
Potential cards that want to look to:
Chronicler of Heroes - 3/3 body that gives card advantage. Previously worked with Gyre Sage version, however dont know how gyre sage is right now.
Here is a link to that version: http://mtgo-stats.com/decks/91079
Scavenging ooze - 2 mana curve filler that is amazing in late game, sometimes important ability (vs UW and Junk reanimator), life gain.
Ajani - amazing topdeck with his jump ability.
Mutant's Prey - another removal for counter version. Works with Experiment, Ooze, Gyre Sage, Polukranos and Mistcutter Hydra.
Trostani - agressive deck nightmare plus quite good for midrange matchups.
Call of the Conclave - while worse than Fleecemane Lion, Bile blight is a thing.
Eidolon of Countless Battles - similar to Boon Satyr, good bestow creature that allows you to
have other way to push damage vs control other than putting more creatures on board.
Plummet - 5th answer to Desecration demon and for dragons.
Celestial Flare - answer to hexproof.
Blind Obediene - agro decks hoser.
Would be glad if someone can answer my thoughts and also help me evaluate card choices.
