Why would I lynch someone who chose to target their scum read? Not claiming, then claiming later would have been far worse.

True, but Kaze has a following and people see me as the town idiot. Kaze's aggressive play and weird posts had my radar pinging. The next night I would have targeted Suga if we did not lynch CM. Good learning experience for me.

I was also scared of being hit at from scum thus I figured staying under the radar would be wiser. Also, I don't approve of making unconfirmed claims. Even on myself when I am not in the spot light for lynching.

My plan was to NK the nurse, and I assumed it was witch so it worked. I knew I was doomed when imopen took the starbait though.

You need to not jump to conclusions so easily when hunting for scum wraith, I swear you called about 6-7 people in this game scum. You will get there though.

What sucked was I actually felt CM came off very scummy, so it didn't feel like a trap when stardust voted him. I found this set up to be very difficult. Mostly because it was open and I messed up so barely day 1

You're a difficult player to read, imopen. While it's true that my CM case was made to feel the game out, I wouldn't say it was a trap. Your vote just struck a chord, so I ran with it. Your reaction to that pressure sealed the deal.

yea, my reaction was piss poor. I tried to be sly when I should have just argued my reasoning for CM being scum. I think I was at work and didn't check who had voted CM other than me and stardust because I was sure it was lmd but then it was kaze and I panicked. I probably still had a chance to argue my way out but I decided that my death would put CM in a positive light and maybe give him an opportunity to sneak through.

Alright, Wraith, here's the next step in your mafia education. Interactions are extremely powerful. imopen, as scum, would have no reason to offhandedly mention Suga while voting CM Day 1. That was a setup for future days, proven out when imopen flipped scum. That's why Suga was being considered as confirmed town.

Check out posts 94-99, and how imopen talks about CM. That's what scum-on-scum interaction looks like.

This is something you don't need to be afraid of. As you said, people have been treating you like the town idiot. Lucky for you, you're also easy to read so you're not likely to get lynched. You are getting better, but being the town idiot is not all bad. It means you're never going to be the mafia nightkill target because they'll always target someone who's better at the game. One day you'll get a solid power role like Cop. If you just play it cool in-game, there's no reason why you couldn't get 2 or 3 investigations off since you don't need to worry about dying prematurely.
