Should we just abandon this game, or what?

I hate to be a dick since I'm sure CM put a lot of work into this game, but given that we're looking at probably a dozen Night phases at least, I'm not really looking forward to 6 months of this...

Night decisions are still being made. This is a very intricate game and the ball is just starting to roll, if you want to finish the book 1/4 of the way in you can always replace out.

Large games are.... large!

As long as things are happening, I guess. We're coming up on a week here though (again). ETA?

3 days and no incrimination's, how long can this luck streak for the cartels last? For now its all about the money, women and parties. Maybe the cops are brewing something? Who knows, all the cartels can do is wait for their next shipment, the police will have to find a lead soon.

No one was incriminated last night. its now day 3 and you may post.

Is there, like, any behavior to analyze at all in this game?

If there are power roles to be used, no ones fucking using them

Or they are failing. Why do you assume the former?

Seriously, do we have any way to try to move on with the game?

I guess things are happening behind the scenes?

Like, I do more or less understand what's going on (I think), but this game is going to go loooooooooong.

Kaze, why would you decline to join a faction?

I have decided that this game is fucked up. The fact that talking about anything actively works against my eventual wincon is balls. That said, I believe it's time I join a faction.

Vote Stardust.

I have no reason to believe they will fail

Nothing is happening , we have had two night phases , and nothing has happened, you'd think one of the power roles would've hit something if by sheer blind luck

I'm sure you can think of reasons why.

Nope.

Because you're already in a faction! :monocle:

Not really. Unless you're a cop, I guess. I have no idea why you'd be allowed to decline in a game like this though. It's just a bizarre choice for game design. On top of that, I don't think it's even in your best interest to decline, so I'm still not sure I believe you. Not that it matters what I believe.

Nope, not voting for your cop buddy. But nice try. ;-)

Yea I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing. Surprisingly, it's a lot less stressful position to be in than a normal mafia game

I think whoever the cops are should claim. That way we can help you find the druggies. I'm a thug for hire, man. Doesn't mean I need to be working against you! Give me a gun and we're set!

Because the factions that have attempted to recruit me obviously aren't the ones that give me benefits if I pal up with them.

I'm not just going to pair up with whatever so I have a win-con. This game has mechanics that make it beneficial for me to be choosy, so I'm proceeding like so.

Hmm, yeah, I'd forgotten that you claimed that. So when they try to recuit you, CM tells you which faction it is? Does that mean you know the faction names?

I just hope this whole game ends up like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels where I get away with the antique shotguns after several days of bumbling around and drinking pints.
