Anyone else playing? Thoughts? Decklists? Complaints on how difficult it is to obtain Legendaries?

I've been playing a bit, though I've just been skimming off the free prizes rather than actually paying any money. My decks suck, I've got something like 4 legendaries, but it's a fun game.

KazukoKodo if you want to play.

Yeah I haven't spent a dime other than $20 on the starter decks they put out before they introduced rarity. So I have playsets of a few legendaries but am still missing plenty of the ones required for tournament play.

Checkbox is my name there

Got you.

I'm surprised I won after I drew that unplayable hand.

Yeah, that would be nice. Could just spam this forum, I guess. ;)

The unplayable hand was when I had three creatures, you had none and I was in a very good position. Then I drew a hand full of removal with nothing to target, so I did nothing for the turn.

I like SolForge so far. I've been grinding with an Uterra spam deck and its been decently successful vs real people. I've played a few tournaments and haven't exactly taken home any trophies, but when the prize for scrubbing out is a regular pack you really can't complain. I just started on an Alloyin/Tempys idea to cheat levels and draws, and I'm pretty sure it still sucks.

I don't recall my whole deck list off the top of my head, but it's something like: Echowisp x3, Uterra Packmaster x3, Swampmoss Lurker x3, Deepbranch Prowler x3, Gemhide Basher x3, Lightning Spark x3, Uranti Bolt x3, Ferocious Roar x3, Shardplate Delver x??, Cinderfist Brawler x??, and... other stuff.

I actually only ever spent money on one Uterra faction deck and one alternate art Uterra Packmaster. Pulled two Echowisps the normal way, out of the regular packs I occasionally get from dailies. Still haven't pulled an Everflame Phoenix of
my own.

Grinding against the computer quickly becomes pointless, as I'm convinced its secretly an invalid. Keeps playing its dudes in empty lanes when I'm within win range, and discarding a card as its turn 1 play instead of putting something on the board... just silly shit. I've been told that there's actually a point where the computer is so far behind in life that it will give up on trying, and I believe that.

I love it as much as my friends hate it.

I'll shoot you an invite when I get back to the house. I only have it on PC.

I just won my first draft! Some pile of random high-toughness Uterra/Alloyin cards to support a few cards that cared about low power and full ranks. Worked really well, actually. 9 event tickets and a premium pack never felt so sweet.

I may have conceded, don't remember lol.

You know what's good against Echowisp? Epidemic.

I prefer Firestorm. That way a level 1 Firestorm can still kill their level 2 Wisp (and level 2 can kill level 3).

I also think my love of red is carrying over to this game.

Armour is pretty annoying...

Built a deck around Techno Levelers that abuses some of their huge guys. It's a difficult deck to play, but lets the Timmy in me live the dream of 20/20's and 40/40's.

I think I have built an unbeatable deck. Unfortunately, it's a pain in the ass to play. Gives every creature defender (mine included) then kills you on turn 30, give or take.

Sadly, my unbeatable deck is, in fact, beatable. Still a good deck though. Made much better by Glacial Crush.

Speaking of which, who likes the new cards?

Been playing in constructed tourney's lately. I'm playing a RG aggro deck with mostly commons, but it works damn well. Just had a guy concede after the second turn.

I have a draft voucher that I got from ordering from SCG and I'm getting another one at the end of the week because apparently I can't just order everything at once. I figured that while my interest may have suddenly gone on the wane, there's no sense in letting them go to waste. So do you guys want one? I'll PM you one.

In other news, SCG is giving away draft vouchers with orders.

Huh, that's kinda cool. I'll take one if you want to give it to me. Thanks!
