We've had a gentleman's agreement for a few months at my LGS not to play that shit anyway. We regularly play 6+ player games so anyone not playing it was at a very real disadvantage.

So no change, personally.

Too bad, because I like powerful cards, but this was Wizards' fault. The card was badly designed. All it needed was "noncreature, nonland" to make the card more fair and more fun. The correct play with this guy was always to just cast him as soon as possible. By limiting it to nonland, you've got a choice between grabbing 1 Forest by killing that one guy's Sol Ring, or waiting for more targets to get more value. Getting 100% value every time made him too good and disjointed from the rest of the Primordial cycle.

I play Tinker, so my comments are irrelevant. Best Tinker target? Aether Spellbomb. That card is so busted in 1 v 1.

What deck do you play, Helios? I've always wanted to play a blue deck in 1v1. Krenko is fun, but usually won't stand up against a deck made with French rules in mind.

Play me like your French rules.

I'm happy to see it get the axe because it sends the clear message to WotC.

"You have no fucking clue on how to balance cards for multiplayer."

I'm loving the butt hurt this ban has caused. If you needed SP to win games of EDH then you sucked to begin with.

Hopefully they'll Build better decks and stop relying on dumb shit wizards to print "I tap my lands and win" cards.

Exactly. My deck is fine without it, but it is such a good card so I played it when I could.
