Dies to Removal

A friend had me doing research on his arena promo for him, and I discovered it was a rare misprint one! He wants me to sell or trade it for him, so I figured I'd post it up here before gong to sally, since I like y'all a lot better then those idiots.

The card itself is an Arena Promo Island from 1999. The reason its rare is it is missing the set symbol. This happened with roughly 1/5th of the copies of the card.

It sells for around 60, at near mint, though this is better then slightly played, but It's not fully nm. As such, if we sell it, we're looking for about $50.

If we trade, then he's interested in getting the eldrazi titans (sides emrakul, which he already has), or some other stuff. (i'll post his want list when he gets around to giving it to me.)


So tldr; Rare misprint foil promo lands. Roughly $50. You probably don't care unless you're a collector. And it's for
sale or trade, depending.

I'd like to see scans, but I have titans and am interested.

I don't have access to a good camera and the card both atm, but I can upload the image I have on my phone that I used while doing research.

There are some sites listing it for less, but they're all out of stock. These are the sites that actually have 'em where you can get 'em.

Absolutely, I was just wondering. Apparently I suck at searching SCG.

It's tough to get to. The easiest way is to search for foil islands I believe. But yeah. My friends still working on his want list. Only other thing I know off the top of my head he wanted was vesuva.

Just wanted to let you know that I saw the list and am thinking. Since I do legitimately have all of that stuff, does your friend happen to have any R/x fetchlands? I'm hesitant to let go of titans for a rare Island, but I'd do fetches in a heart beat.

So what you're telling me is that he wants this: The missing card is All Is Dust, because I actually play with that one.

Nah, he has no fetches. To be honest with you, he's only been playing for a little while, and only got the island cause some other guy was stupid.

Alrighty I'll do some thinking and see if I can come up with a combination that'll both make him happy and be things I'm willing to part with. The eldrazi represent a significant amount of cash if unloaded as a set, hence my reluctance.

to be honest this subforum is far and away meant for that it's just that there's no section specifically for trading because despite talking about it for a bit we never really got into the nuts and bolts of having a trade section here. since this site is partially mine and this section is my responsibility, i just wanted to make sure you guys were aware of liability waiving on our part but that you're free to trade or whatever as long as you acknowledge that.
