Who is Da Purp?

I am.
In all seriousness though, I recently graduated from Georgia Southern University (yes we really do drink nothing but alcohol and sweet tea) with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing. Currently I work as a freelance Brand Consultant (basically a designer who also understand the business side) in my hometown of Atlanta, Ga.
I am very competitive, and have had my fair share of success in both sports and professional gaming. Once I moved to college I began to focus on other things, however when I would return home to visit from college I would always catch my stoner friends playing magic (i knew nothing about old magic cards at all) . I quickly fell in the love with the color red and wanted nothing more than to turn shit sideways and own them.
I have been playing more competitive for the past year and half(or whenever GTC came out), achieving 2 SCG Open Top 16s, a Couple IQ Top 8's, a
PT Top 16 and winning a TCQ Silver. Everyone one of those were accomplished with R/x decks and I owe all the success to the players from MTGS R/x forum, without you guys I would be so bad.
I've come over here, because like many of you realized months ago, some players on that forum just don't understand the purpose of a competitive forum. Now that I consider myself a much better player I realize this.
I have been lurking for a while. but now feel like this will be my new home for all things aggro. Thanks for having me.
