A cool faux-batterskull and some limited probably chaff. this new cycle of "color hosers" does not know what color hosers are.

I would say the equipment dodges removal and is pretty novel for not being Batterskull, but this is a Standard with Putrefy so I'm not sure it's going to pan out the way I'd like it to.

It's one of the few equipments that's not a dead draw with no creatures out. I like it.

I like the Merfolk and the Plate, but the black card easily gets the best art.

That Mage looks like was designed with Legacy Fish in mind. 2 drop, merfolk, taps down a Lackey / Goyf, etc. I don't know if it will see play but the design is simple enough. Like a narrower, evasionless
Dungeon Geists.

The Merfolk will see play in extended formats for sure.

I was excited about the plate until I reread it and saw the "no other creatures" proviso. Feh.

Can the haunter plate attack? If the spirit don't have haste? Works like mishra's with a first turn summon illness only?

Works like Mishra's Factory, yes.

Ok, so, after a board wipe, you can attack with 4 on board if you activate each one in answer to the activation of the first and swing for 16. Thanks !

Yup, I think that works. I'm not saying Haunted Plate Mail is borked but I could definitely see a control deck using it and Mutavault in tandem with board sweepers.

This is going to happen a lot at my venue.

But once the activation of the first one resolves, won't the other three whiff?

Just stack em

They resolve simultaneously?

That's why i think this is not a piece of garbage, and mutavault in the same edition seems pretty sexy for all non artifact-hate decks.
Wait, build, and see.

They resolve simultaneously?
No, but it doesn't matter. It's only the activation that checks for creatures. So, if you put all activations on stack before resolving any of them, you're getting 4 creatures.
