Well I can only assure him as someone who was in the gutter for 2 months that the members are not the villans some of the iridium made them out to be. Besides this time last year there were like 5 gutter members on main staff who were working alongside non gutter staff to improve the site........................ then came the closure notice near the end of June last year (which listed mostly bullshit reasons for the closure of the gutter) it was only then everything went to hell.

As an outside observer during that whole thing, I think I can safely say that neither side came out smelling like roses.

Roses don't smell that great. Takes a lot of manure to get them to grow, for instance.

I assume there are levels of nuanced metaphores in that sentence... but I'm not getting them.

I was late to the Gutter party. When I arrived there was nothing but cops, cans, and roofied chicks everywhere.

didn't miss much , although I was never in the Gutter
btw posted support for you on MTGS.
Saw that. Thanks.
Personally, I think it's a stupid rule - double posting is fine
everywhere else, but God forbid we do it in an area where we're suppose to chill out and have fun.
I tried to convince ria that the double-posting rule staying valid in Clans was stupid and pointless, but was, of course, overruled with no discussion outside of the two of us.
Clans. Pfft.

No one should hate us, if someone comes here to have fun and isn't a prick, nothing bad will happen

My friend keeps bugging me to let them give me a tattoo, has been for years. They consider it creepy that one of their friends isn't inked. Thinking about going with something like this:

Maybe just the Chinese part, thinking right bicep. Suggestions?

Don't tattoo Chinese characters on your body, unless you can read them yourself. Try some Latin or something, that's easier to verify.

If you get this done I'll send you money:

Now when you say "get this done" are you talking about the tattoo or the person it's on?

Holy shit! I thought that was someone's torso!
If you're going to get the logo done, do the whole thing - that way, if the Chinese makes no sense, you can at least say that it's true to the series and not just random Chinese nonsense.

Good point, sir.
If I am going to get the whole thing, though, I think the bicep might be the wrong place for it. Tramp stamp maybe?

Upper back is always good - easy to hide when you want to, easy to show off when you want to.

Having tattoos not showing under a white T-shirt is the Best IMO.
I'm getting one after my grandparents die and I'm getting it on my back for sure.

I'm definitely getting an Iron Maiden tattoo at some point. Not sure where or how large, but I think a large back piece would be sweet. Was also thinking of an upper arm one with the logo and dates of shows I've seen

Mine is on my right wrist. Personally I love it, but if a situation ever arises where I need to conceal it my options are pretty much a large bandage or a long-sleeve shirt - both of which suck mid-summer in the South.
If I get another, I'm thinking back or chest.

Gotta make your Grandparents happy bro.
I get enough drama from my dad's side of the family that I'll pretty much do anything for them.

Eh, it was just a body pillow with a wig sewn on and an audio CD of some dude reading Dostoyevsky. Still the best $3,000 I ever spent, though.
