Fact, Judges familiar>Thalia is unbeatable for some decks. Add an exalted sub-theme and you have a deck. I like Fiend hunter as removal. How else are you gonna beat a boros reckoner?

4 Judges Familiar
4 Champion of the Parish
4 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
2 Nearheath Pilgrim
4 Knight of Glory

Psuedo Haunted humans build. I like evasion

Everything true. I just threw the deck out from my head. Added suggested changes.

Oh yeah, I just threw I different version out there. It's like aristocrats act 2 vs. act 3. Same deck core, change a color and you go from grindy to comboey, while still being a board control deck. In this case, you go from being better versus control to being more able to win random games you have right to be winning(cause you play Geist).

Love the comment about the guy playing Blood Moon and the UW player beside him losing the game immediately and all sorts of other fantastic stuff happening.

I'm going back to UB Tempo (maybe UBw). Key gains:
- Far / Away
- Notion Thief
- Sin Collector
Reanimator was never a great matchup and it's less prevalent now; Aggro and midrange were good and they're everywhere.

is it just me or does that notion thief+whispering madness+reforge the soul janky grixis deck look hella fun >_>

Sin Collector is a nice reason to go white. Of course if you go white you pretty much have to run Restoration Angel, which makes Notion Theif and Sin Collector even nastier.

Does
Notion Thief trigger for every card that would have been drawn, or just every draw opportunity? If the former, that's pretty killer stuff.

"One time I played a Blood Moon and a WU control player from two tables over died instantly."
Yeah, I lost it there, too.

The former.
Basically forces them to cast Revelation for one at the end of your turn.
Actually, even that's wrong. They can only draw a card during their draw phase. At any other time, you draw the cards.

Decided to go giants for another draft. I have 6 blind-spot giants. Kind of sweet I guess.

Thoughts and prayers needed. My wife's numbers were not good and she is very likely miscarrying despite the symptoms now being absent.

Just checked in...lab values are just the closest thing we have for trying to understand how the body works, Val...hold on to hope, but more importantly, hold onto your beloved.
Joining the brothers in sending positive vibes and prayers your way, man.
The kids and I are taking off before dawn to hit Doorly Zoo in Omaha and hang out in the city for a couple of days to take in museums and fairs and such. I seem to remember someone in FoS being up that way...if so, give a shout!

Maybe more of a post rotation thing, but UR Tempo built around:
- Goblin Electromancer
- Young Pyromancer
- Guttersnipe
Maybe Nivix Cyclops?
Rest of the deck is burn, draw etc, maybe a sneaky Weapon Surge.
Remember, it's going to be a very different world post INN and post M13; all the aggro hate leaves.

I can't theorize about a possible post rotation meta without - at least - some idea of what Theros is bringing to the table.

I'm not from Omaha, but I had a girlfriend from there when I was in college in St. Louis and our outsourced customer service is in the part of Iowa that requires flying in to Omaha. It's a great little city, and the Zoo is pretty nice. Have fun!

UR Tempo looks nice IMO. Though we need something similar to
Artful Dodge.

Works both ways, many of the best aggro cards ever printed will be leaving, too. (Thundermaw Hellkite, Stonewright, Pyreheart Wolf, Stromkirk Noble...)
