btw Zem the cube deck made it to the finals easily but got spanked by bad BW heroic deck because I couldn't find shackles and had no creatures, so no harm no foul. 4 packs

I actually played valley dasher for the first time in draft on Thursday(most stores in LA will have a draft with the new set the week before prerelease).
My deck was actually busted. 4 Mardu Skullhunters, 2 valley dasher, 2 mardu scot, a couple goblin heelcutter(really, really good), and sweet, sweet, icy blast for value.

Also my daughter is becoming quite the Pokemon player. Her grasp of game mechanics isn't the best, but her trash-talking is superb for an 8-year-old - she told one boy that he was "creepy and weird and lived in garbage."

competitive pokemon seems rock/paper/scissors and a kids game but it's secretly a top tier game.
Requires more memorization than chess though so that's a definite buzzkill
