I could go the pptq tomorrow and be guaranteed a win against the scrubs in my local area but the prizepool is "5 packs per player registered" so probably like 40 packs maybe?
Or I could not call into work at my minimum wage job and be guaranteed 70$ on my paycheck
unfortunately packs dont pay rent or I'd so catch the flu

also it's more of a guaranteed x-2-2 drop

He took an already tier 2 deck, made changes to make it worse against the meta and succeeded in spite of that. Who are we to doubt him?

by zemanjaski
You changed some SB cards, switched Inquisition for Thoughtseize, cut a Relic etc

I can post Shota's list for side by side comparison if you like. You made the list worse relative to the current meta. Well done on the result regardless.

So changes were made, I guess I wasn't making that up then!

You're so precious and for no reason. You don't need to prove anything to anybody here. Especially me (because I don't care).

I'd like to interrupt for a moment for something that actually matters: Happy Birthday, Khaos!

Okay gentlemen, carry on.

by Khaospawn
Thanks for the "happy birthdays", guys!

I started the party Saturday night with a bottle of mead, moved on to copious amounts of Chocolate Peanut Butter stout, and then ended up slamming double tall rum and cokes while playing the Thunderstruck drinking game. Needless to say, I was as drunk as a theoretical Irish Viking Pirate would be in that situation

Ended up at a strip club and that was pretty much the last thing i remember.

If someone asks you "what did you do last night?", you wouldn't answer "I spent all night drinking apple juice"
so if I replace apple juice with alcohol, why is that suddenly a better answer?

by Khaospawn
If someone asks if you are a god, you answer YES

Because drinking alcohol is to many a social activity which implies a raucous, adventurous night with friends and drinking apple juice is not?

What a stupid question. Honestly, I don't even drink and I'm still embarrassed for you for pretending to be snitty about it.

So rude. You haven't even been to one of my applejuice parties how would you know

Kait, why don't you drink?

Posted: Mon Dec 22, 2014 4:30 pm
by Purp
Kait is the friend who goes out to the bar with you, takes car bombs to get real drunk so he can hit on women, and then scares the women away.

by Khaospawn
Car bombs are what you want to drink to erase a bad day . Seriously, I can't remember anything after a couple of those

Just hang out with a few Koreans. I've had more alcohol tonight than I do in any normal month.

Fucking Koreans keep pouring me soju.

How is that even possible? The few koreans I've met couldn't handle alcohol even if their lives depended on that o_o

That's exactly the problem.

It's the Korean traditions that makes it so bad. You never pour your own drink, you never let someone else's glass go empty and you always return a drink poured for you. What this creates is a table of ten dudes looking for empty glasses as an excuse to fill it and get the return glass. Also they just love to pour drinks for other people. It is a show of respect and friendship.

That can get out of hand pretty quickly, I've got to admit.

I usually drink single malt whiskeys that are 46% and I'll have anywhere between three and six in a night.

My mistake the last time we went out was thinking "It's just soju, that stuff's only 18%, so I won't have any problems."

Never underestimate the quantity over quality approach to things.

If he's on a gov server he's on a proxy. He did say he was a contractor, didn't he?

Could also be home for Christmas. :)
