GP Sydney was mixed.
CONS
- my sealed pool
- my round six opponent asking if I write for SCG because my name was familiar
- not getting a playmat because I didn't day 2
- Sydney in general
- losing my win and in for the top 8 of the super Sunday series
PROS
- hanging out with Jacob Wilson and pat Sullivan
- slaying pat Sullivan in the super Sunday series
- winning the modern side event
- winning the ante matches after day two
- stacking someone in 20-40-70-80-100
- hanging with Saito was the absolute highlight of my magic career

I've heard stories about the joys of bar going with Saito; granted this was years ago before he was married.

We rolled off for clothes. He won my friends tshirt and my CFB one; we were trying to win his hat.

CONS - Sydney in general
Lies
...beside the Sydney Funnel Webs, housing prices, prices in general, traffic, race wars (though this hasn't happened in a while and it wasn't as big as a deal as people made it out too be).

On MTGS you can't even insult Hitler without getting infracted for not considering his feelings.

Tezz is sweet. I almost played it last weekend, but didn't have the time to get the cards together.

The Deck looks like he took his gp deck from years ago and changed the sideboard.

I thought LSV's was better. Levy's was just him giving WOTC a rim job.

There's really not much for anyone to say about it. All the changes are good except for the fact that people have to buy even more cards now. Besides that, everyone should agree this is sweet.

When you think about it we may not have to buy more cards, either. The same number of sets are being released and, usually, we have to modify or completely replace decks as new sets come out, this season being an exception. The cards being legal for a shorter period will certainly affect the longevity of any card but I think we will probably be buying the same amount as always.

I think you will find you are buying more cards if you're a competitive Standard player

Incorrect! Mono black aggro is excellent so I shall also stockpile on black commons.
You also can't argue with results, while I can play most every archetype, I do best with red aggro.

Well, add inanimate objects to the list of things that want me dead. My car just tried to kill me. Power steering cut out right before a fairly messy turn.
