I played a turn 2 and 3 Blood Moon against my BG opponents at the PTQ and still lost because apparently if they float GB and have Abrupt Decay every time you just get fucking fucked.

You could try playing better. Combat damage? Big Exsanguinate? Sorin you to 10? Massacre Wurm? Mikaeus, Blood Artist and a sac outlet? Mono Black pretty much never struggles to find ways to end the game.
