I don't think you fully understand what the GRRR is. It's not a thread made to badmouth anyone (well, except for :ER: we badmouth him there all the time). It's just a place where the mods come together and chill, say hi, troll each other for fun (and it is for fun, no one is disrespected there). Asking to make the GRRRR public is like asking me to publicly reveal my AIM chat logs with Person X (whoever it is). There's no point in that.
Anyway, as far as transparency goes, we started this thread to have user input on current site affairs. Instead I see posts and posts of personal crusades... Were we wrong to bet on transparency? I'd like to see more people posting their opinions about the matters at hand (you know?

I just find it odd that Az, a guy who was a good admin (all be it for a short time) and also gives a damn about the community is not let back on staff or even mod lounge consultant.

Meanwhile another guy (Ria) who went a little crazy during his admin time, has become a mod lounge consultant and Expired Rascals even suggested he would like Ria back on the staff. Not that I have anything personal against Ria, I just find it strange.

See this is the end result of taking cum shots to the face. Az decided working and doing shit was better for the site while ria decided to better himself is to shower his face in it.

Wasn't he talking to the iridium? Seems weird to lump in a comment towards you or other banned members between comments about the State thread.

He's not quoting any staff and the person with the post before him isn't staff. I assume he just hates the Gutter and came here to post about how much he hates the Gutter.

There are a lot of people on staff now who a) have no idea what I've done aside from CI warrioring and gloves, and consider gloves the moral equivalent of pedophilia and b) people like Senori who just violently dislike/disagree with me c) people who resented my coming on board to "fix" the staff d)
people who are familiar with all my old history but just didn't fight that hard for me.

And several of the admins/mods have weird ideas about me that they never bothered to approach me about openly. Like, Galspanic thought I was trying to create a double standard of rules for mods and users in order to protect Lucknorris from getting fired for underage trading - if he'd bothered to check admin lounge, he'd have seen my change my mind as soon as we stopped focusing on how silly and unimportant the rule was and the words "double standard" came up in discussion. Expired Rascals thinks I'm deceptive because my statements about how I feel about gloves are supposed to be inconsistent - saying that I made mistakes during it on one hand, but also thinking there was good reason to make the thread.

On the other hand, the mod lounge consultant position was probably made with me in mind. But the politics, especially in relation to lower staff, have made my coming on board problematic. I'm viewed
as a polarizing figure - probably quite true, and some of the lower staff called out admin on coming up with the position as a way to "sneak" me back into the fold, which seemed to make them pretty skittish about following through at the time.

Compound that with a lot of people privately twisting my words in my mod app in private to portray me as going on an ego trip/savior complex, and there you have it.

Frankly, though, if they can continue not to screw up as badly as the team from 6 months to a year ago, I'm quite happy to see current admin manage things without my having to get my hands dirty. I have enough on my plate, and most likely I would immediately want to resign as soon as I was given any position of authority. Even mod lounge consultant might be more work than I'm interested in - arguing with people's bad ideas in the lounge is a full-time job.

It would be worthwhile if it could be parlayed into bringing reasonable discussion on some of the gutter-fallout decisions, but its
a pretty energy-draining and ultimately tedious position. And my patience with them is at a pretty low ebb at this point, which wouldn't be helpful right now.

Its much more peaceful, over here.

ER thinking you're deceptive is a joke. he goes out of his way to keep the site in a perpetual state of statis because it allows him to foster his fake virtual community and feel self important. having you, a proactive idealist, around is contrary to these aims, Az. you being staff would also be a constant reminder of the failures of all the upper level staffers who got undeserved promotions after you left. if they're trying to paint you as a savior in your mod app, it's because they have a deep seated jealously towards the transparent atmosphere you created in your short admin tenure.
