I just saw Trostani's Summoner. You get 9 power for 7 mana that is blinkable. They seem to be really pushing bant as all the best cards spoiled so far are bant colors.

They're really hitting all throughout the day this time around, aren't they? Gatecrash spoilers seemed much more uniform...midnight Eastern, with a couple of outliers.

Not going to lie, this is going to make me look like a fool again, but this set isn't half as appealing to me as Gatecrash was. I know that prevailing opinion is currently the opposite.

Oh, and split cards are cool, but the Fuse bar is hideous. Actually...I'm unsure if I really like split cards all that much, but the only interaction I've had with them before was with the Izzet vs. Golgari duel deck, so they're fairly new to me, and I pretty much always think new stuff is cool to at least tinker with.

yeah i don't think i've used a split card yet, and i don't think there are any in play right now thats used in mono RDW decks so i probably won't get to for a while lol

I don't believe there are any currently legal in Standard, until DGM release, so yeah...they're not all that common right now.

I actually like the Azorius Runner. Blink effects are already quite prominent and established, and with that Deputy of Acquittals common, I feel that ETB and blink strategies will be as strong as ever in DGM.

As a Bant player, many cards are making me happy. But I really hope that there will be something to fight Lavinia. I mean, that card shuts down aggro for a turn of two with Resto Angel. Personally, I don't have fun when all the best cards/interaction are one-sided in colours.

I'm pretty sure this set will shape up so every guild has it's own little tricks and obstacles for other decks to overcome in Standard.
