Shandalar was the shiznit. The dungeons were the best, the carry-over life totals were supposed to be a liability but not if you played 8 Spirit Link[/s]s. Then I built a functional model of the "Just Black Lotuses, Lightning Bolts, and Timetwisters" deck and all my friends called me a cheater.

Lol I the last time I quite magic I nearly fellout in the floor of the LGS when the guy told me he would give me 7.50 each for my mind censors. I had a bunch I never through stuff away. I only proxy over grade A crap like 4/6 vanillas for cmc 7

I still like running into people whit quit in the late 90s and sold their fow/etc for cheap

Than the immediate look of disgust on their face when they mention how much they are worth now

I used to know this guy who collected lions eye diamonds, and his mom sold his collection on him after he moved out. He probably had enough to put both of his kids through college. Whoever bought that collection off of her is an asshole.

Oh ok. So I only lost about $65 on it. That's about as much as I lost on each Bob I sold at nationals in 2006

I wouldn't be stretching the truth very far if I said he had somewhere around 600~ LEDs, it was such a bad card back then he could literally get them for free. :\
