Well, other than kijin, I think I'm the only other gutter poster left from its earliest days on mtgs. He is much better at telling the history than me but is probably apathetic. The early days involved a room with a moose, a lot of early Internet memes (before Internet memes were a term), gutter survivors where we voted people out of the gutter for being bad posters, and a surprisingly large moderator presence. I remember wolfwood, butteblues, goblinboy, xzybit, and senori as some of the frequent staff participants.

I got banned sometime in that first year after my friend and some other bad posters, plus good posters who voted checkbox, caused me to win a survivor. I made a gimmick, protourlakenichigan, and began posting on and off for the next 7 years. Mostly in
2009 and 2012.

As for names:
Col. = N_S
Thrillo = kijin
King spam = clock king
Mogadishu = kpaca
Captain Murphy = pinkfloyd
Imopen2 = protourlakemichigan (aka imopen2)
Yannaria = yanni
Kaitscralt = madding

Am I missing other name changes?
