I don't know how old your kid is or the gender. If it's a boy and he's anywhere in the 18-23 age bracket, I'm betting it's appendicitis. That's pretty common in that age group and it's relatively minor. It just feels like hell.

@Windstrider, that is scary. Hope it's not Appendicitis. If your eldest is female; check for ovarian cyst. My sister has/had those and she had a trip to the hospital for one. My mom, who is a nurse, has been seeing more of them in teen girls. They can get huge!

Get a second opinion from a gynecologist if they find nothing at the ER or GP. My friend's sister had a 25 pounder that her general practioner missed that another doctor found when she was getting checked for why she was not loosing weight from working out. There is another version that comes and goes. My sister has that kind.

Generic PS memory card came in mail. I plugged it into my old PS2(not the Slim version, mind you), hit the browser, and get prompted to format the card. I do so.

Now, I'm not very awesome with electronics and such, but apparently - according to the interwebs - I may have screwed it up. I don't have a PS1 game to test it out yet. Did I make a mistake?

I don't think so. I think it means it is formatted for the PS2 file system now and, as such, will not work on a PS1. I'm pretty sure you can still save PS1 games from the PS2 onto it.

Or at least that's how it would work assuming Playstations behave like normal computers.
