It's not a real format so it doesn't matter?

Since they seed the boosters, just pick whichever color you want the cards for most and go with that one. Otherwise, what you think you'll most enjoy playing.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

I'm doing red just cause

in my town if you shoot someone's dog you could expect serious vengeance , there are a lot of dog lovers. Me included, but i don't let my dog bother other people.

Probably i'll do a 2-headed giant prerelease so i think i must avoid red... you know, usually it isn't the best color when you start from 40 life points. This is a pity , because the red promo is very good.... i think i'll choose black, or white if i want to have a chance opening brimaz or spirit of the labyrinth .

Red. Red's got decent limited removal in Theros and Born and some of the better Tribute creatures. Also it's Red and I've got a reputation to uphold.

Did you all read todays article on TCG player? http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=11615
Author sucks at card evaluation.

On the subject of dogs. A long time ago, My Neighbor Rose Cadana, had 2 Rottweilers escape and they tor apart an old woman walking down the road for exercise. The dogs had to be shot and killed to even stop their ravaging. Rose did not raise them to be mean, but she still went to the federal pin. I have dealt with about 6 or more loose dogs on my property being aggressive to me and others or chasing the livestock. Our county has a no tolerance policy now cause other maulings occurred recently is surrounding counties as well. A friend at my moms work was attacked by a Boxer dog while just getting her mail. It appeared to be a dump dog. Many folks here tend to drive to the surrounding counties
of San Antonio, Texas to dump their overaggressive dogs, but forget to remove the chip. My mom's friend was severly injured on her dominant arm/hand and can't work properly as a tech in the hospital my mom works at. She fought the dog off, crawled inside, and went back out to shoot the dog. Still had to get rabbies shots. Those SUCK!
Thus always side on caution and either shoot the SOB's dog or call the cops immediately. Since my county only has 4 cops; I shoot them. 50 Beowulf or 12 gauge slug says I win. Dogs that are aggresive are dangerous weapons that State or Feds will charger you with varying degrees of (attempted if they don't die)manslaughter or murder if the victim dies. Damage from dog attack wounds can be far to substantial to recover from, thus SHOOT the dog. Try to shoot it on your property though or on the road as that helps in court. If the owners kennel blew over during a storm; the owner is still liable for the dog attack as the dog is considered a weapon/
responsibility. The responsibility is on the dog owner to keep it contained, under control, and cared for. NOT YOU. There is no difference when a Tiger or Wolf escapes from an idiot owner. Always say that you were in fear for life or your families life if the dog owner challenges you. He can take it up with the cops or in court. I have a hybrid wolf dog that I never let loose. She is not mean but will other small animals she does not know. Thus she lives in the house or in my custom welded pin cemneted in the ground with concrete base floor for easy cleaning. I put in those big black trailer mats for grip and comfort for her. I cut groves in them to let shit and pee pass through. It's really my sister's dog, but she is still in college, thus most care falls to me. I love to run with her though as she pulls you along like a sled dog.

I honestly haven't the slightest clue what I'm going with. Blue and Black are in the lead currently, but I may consider White as well. I really like the Heroic mechanic in a block with such little hard removal.

Around here shooting the dog isn't an option. Practically nobody except cops and criminals have guns. I've taken the gun safety courses that are required if you want to own, but in Massachusetts the permit is completely up your town police chief's discretion. I live in an area where that translates to "nobody."

I want to go red for the pre-re so i can play with alpha strike Dragon, but the only cards i want from this set are really just Brimaz, scry lands, and spirit, so Im thinking white, too bad it has the worst promo

Mass-of-two-shits (say fast then slow) is horrid on gun rights. Guy I knew from there called his home state that. I run with a heavy walking stick cause it's hard to hide a gun in running shorts.

Sarcasm I know, but fucking stupid to say.

I try to asses the dog before putting it down, and I have about another 6 that were friendly. I found the homes cause they were hounds, celpies (not sure if I spelling that right), Pure bread boder collie (kept that one), Blue Healer, 2 weenie dogs, and this giant fucking black great pyreneese dog. These were great dogs that found homes which were dumped near my place. Thus I try not to shoot them. People who raise them mean should be imprisoned cause they become useless to anyone else. Common sense people!

The more I think about it, the more I like white or black. The blue in the new set isn't very good, so a lot of the power will be in the three THS packs you get. White and black on the other hand have a very good set of cards in both sets, and both colors play well with the other combinations. White also offers a lot of evasion which I like in this block.

I think I'm going white.

Ephara seems good enough to splash white for in mono u devo. White sideboard cards being so good helps too.

Best sealed pool I've ever had at a prerelease had 3 lightning strikes and playable red. Didn't 5-0 because I had a draw round 4 due to smoking as the round started. Opponents deck that I drew with? Elspeth, Master of waves, Purphoros, and perfect mana.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

Was looking for a thread I remembered on Sally about how terrible Cockatrice is when I came across this:

Apparently Aes Sedai is not only a Phi Sigma Tau Pro Tour prodigy, but s/he also kicks ass over the Internet.

Funny, I thought the vibe over on Sally had a decidedly less stupid atmosphere. This partially explains this.

They call them zemmers.

"Shit, Owen's five hundredth article about how Pack Rat is good isn't ready! What do we do?"

"Have the janitor type something up again."

"He's in Mexico visiting family!"

"Aw fuck... wait, we can always throw up a zemmer."

Some black guy just knocked on my door trying to sell me some something. I opened my door and let my dogs run out to him. I thought he was gonna jump over the railing to get away (I live upstairs) cuz he was so scared.

That shit just made my day.

If there's one thing I hate more than anything, it's people knocking on my fucking door after a 9 1/2 day at work trying to sell me some bullshit or asking for a fucking handout. This guy wanted donations so he could go to school. Fuck that guy. I work a fucking job to support myself and go to school. I expect the same from everyone else.
