It's actually been a couple of months since I played anything other than magic. It's more than enough of a timesink by itself...

Its been I say 2 years from the last time I sat down and played Magic with people. Toxic people at shops kill the enjoyment after I worked a 10 hour shift.

Scumbag why are there so many koreans here
I was in Vienna in 2006 and I have no idea what you're talking about.

Vienna is sweet though. Try the turn of the 20th Century cafés first. There's lot of Cold war history too with espionnage and shit since austria was a neutral country (non aligned with US or commies) so everyone went there for talks.

I stayed in the hotel where the first nuclear arms reduction treaty was signed.

I'd like to give street cred to Kijin for telling me that green is the best when I asked what to pick before the tournament, because I was the ONLY one out of a large tournament to pick green, based solely on the assumption that a 4/5 for 5 common would be good
if giant spider at common is good in pretty much all formats, one more mana for twice the giant spider that turns into four times the giant spider for even more mana has to be absolutely insane.

suck it whoever told me not banking on monstrous was a bad plan you are an idiot.

also congrats to baguy who won using the other
strategy i thought would be good in theros limited based on a few dozen drafts and not knowing what most of the cards actually do.

thanks, though to be fair im dumb and 'flying beaters = good' isnt hard

i went 3-1 with blue white flying beats with 2 shipbreaker krakens, the 4/4 flying first strike enchantment bro, and the blue god

got home and opened foil thoughtseize
baguy > Madding
but foil theros cashseize is worth half of what Jace is.
Well, fuck if I know what cards are worth.

Madding > baguy, I guess?

given that croll is the same as just downloading a torrent or going on another streaming site, but with ads and attempts at forcing you to pay money for their content, you're better off streaming or using another torrent site to stay up to date.

well considering someone did a mathematical breakdown on mtgs of the different tiers of colors in theros limited to try and game prerelease because you need to do that, showing results for my suggestions based on "did i draft a deck that would probably 3-0" over and over again is heartening.

UG also seems pretty good because U has more and better fliers and G has 4/5 spider and removal and both colors have monstrous.

you also get that flash flier and that guy seems pretty sick.

reverse nephalia seakite but you gain life for drawing cards too.

i get that its technically worse than seakite because it's less likely to act as removal, but sometimes you just want to punch and use 4/5 reach creatures to block.

i really don't like crunchyroll because they take away from licensers who actually go back and support the industry through licensing and distributing the shows in the US and from the independent sub-ers who don't house new content behind a pay wall just to watch it, so it basically fucks both ends of the anime community.

I make it a point if I really like an anime once its released here as a series set I will go out and buy it. To me nothing beats actually owning that shit and having high quality video.

i mean i don't really care whether or not i'm helping the industry, but supporting crunchyroll actively hurts both the people who actively fund it and the community of people who subtitle anime without the subscription fee nonsense for the latest content.

like you want to pay people to not support the companies that brought you what you're watching instead of downloading it for free and at least being a good pirate are you an idiot.

"but kijin i just watch the free stuff on crunchyroll"
yes and they get the money from ads on their site and you don't even get to watch the newest episode of your show great job.

It's always so delightfully odd when someone around here espouses morality.
