Ham and pie... This game makes me hungry

Why?
because I want to reread and make sure there are no questions I have left to ask.
No, why should the person be instantly lynched?
Denying town information.

Ending the day a day from now, 2 days from now, or a week from now doesn't hurt us. Ending the day before we get all relevant information does.

Also, totes stumbled across this quote while I was getting a
different quote from ragnarok mafia.

Still planning on hammering your time Monday morning?

Still very interested on your case against me, specifically you've said kept my vote on Wraith after calling him Town; can you provide the posts where I did so?

I agree that it wont hurt to have a longer day, I find it strange that its okay to lynch someone who ends it.... because you want to re-read?

Its possible that a townie might hammer, not a good policy.

If only I were a day cop this game...

Vote Wraith223

He's funny. Too funny...
blah blah blah
HAHAHAHA.

Got exactly what I was looking for.
What, specifically, do you not like
about wraith's reaction?
I made no comment about liking it or not, don't put words in my mouth.

He's reaction is fine
Your post says you were expecting a certain reaction from wraith.

If his reaction was fine, why is your vote still on him?
Yeah, like I said, I got exactly the reaction I expected.

I don't have to Unvote an RVS vote. Not everyone does.
If [wraith] was town [zem] wouldnt be voting for someone he thought was town.
Yeah, I know who is Town in RVS....uh no.
if I were to Unvote now you'd say I felt pressured to do so; as I have t you think you can make a case of it. Thing is we both know lots of people don't unvote from RVS.
In my mind, if [zem] got a town reaction, [zem] would have taken his vote off of wraith. [zem] didn't unvote so I assumed zem was looking for a scum reaction, and got it.
then things happen and then:
I was also the first person to vote for you; and had never switched my vote.
So you rvs'ed wraith in order to bait some kind of reaction.
Got the reaction you were looking for, and said it was fine, implying a town lean on wraith
Didn't unvote, meaning you think he is scum even though you previously implied a town lean.
You then proceed to case Wraith, cool, whatevs.
But the last quote I really don't like: 'look how town I am, I voted him first and never unvoted.'

So, yes, you are my biggest scum read at the moment, wraith following, but I'm not quite sure just because he's kind of a rediculous poster.

Now that Pie is in I will probably wait to hear something from him before voting for him.

@CM: What is the town mindset behind hammering when someone else has said 'Don't hammer, I want to make sure I touched on everything I thought was relevant.'

[b:
uu3w2n05]@zem[/b]: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Saying I like his reaction =/= implying he is Town.

That's the first thing we went through (remember I said your reading comprehension sucked?). You've also deliberately avoided quoting my interaction with Iso that further clarifies the point.

To summarise:
- claims I said Wraith was Town (false)
- keeps making the claim without verification
- says I'm scum, won't vote for me

You're just crap Town again, cool.

Explain your selection of my quite to Wraith; you've taken it out if context so give it to the others.

Why would Pie subbing in change your read? Does that make Wraith's content null for you?

If you're not committed to voting Wraith/Pie why aren't you voting for me?

Because it wasn't unanimous, I don't think the town should be sheep'd

Oh you two. :rolleyes2: More bickering and more bickering.

I'm interested in seeing what Pie will bring to the table considering I had begun to lean town with Wraith toward the climax of that little wagon. I want to hear what Pie has to say and would like him to at least make a case so he doesn't just get hammered out of principle of the player who had his role before
him.

The majority of the flailing around Wraith did during the last several pages was a bit painful to reread, but it has me putting CM back into my town pile for now as this is much more like the Town CM I remembered. Looking on the wagon Wraith had going for him and everyone's reasoning for voting, I've been looking back at what raspy mentioned.
I think Wraith could be scum, primarily because I don't think town survives being at L-1 for 3.5 hours unless scum is already on the wagon.
At this time I feel there's definitely scum on this wagon, I'm trying to decide how much scum though.

If I wanted to "coast through Day 1 by hiding in the open" I could just have hopped on the Wraith train, duh.

I'm not going to come up with a list for the moment, try giving me an example on how it's done >'.'<
This post is too self aware and you e not tried to find scum on any post recently.

You are scum, aren't you Red?
Not being ordered around by you means being scum?
*note taken*

Well, that's okay, the next time I'll see you reading the thread I won't greet you, if that's your reaction.

Avoid policy lynches where not needed is a good start, trying to have discuss something different than "OMG wraith sucks" is probably good as well.
I don't feel like saying anything more to you at the moment, I'm more interested in raspy vs imopen at the moment.
Or, well, let's just keep this up for t3h lulz.

Tell me Z, now that Wraith is not playing with us anymore, where you still butthurt at him for something that happened into previous games?
Is that why you started by putting pressure on him, then just let the game drift away?

You clearly haven't read the thread.

I RVS'd him for a laugh, fully expecting a response with a crazy theory, which I got. I left my vote on him and then things went crazy. I certainly questioned him enough to feel that he was frustrated Town.

I have no reason to be "butthurt" about a previous game with Wraith.

If you're interested in raspy and imopen, I look forward to seeing you do something.

Aww, don't get me wrong, I sometimes read things while just don't understanding them, like you'd expect by someone who writes "something happened INTO previous games" (after re-reading the sentence I'm pretty sure it doesn't make sense).

So ok, you wanted him to come up with something silly, he delivered and you went for a walk.
Nothing wrong here, ktnxbye.

Can I ask why do you think that discussing Pie's new role before him actually being able to post something is good practice?
I clearly stated that he would have get lynched no matter what (quantum lynching?) , but if I have to bet a Z-dollar, I'd say scum after that slip on his role.

I want to answer your question, but I don't quite understand it sorry; you can perhaps phrase it differently for me?

I agree that the role slip is pretty damning (of the people who have commented on it, I think everyone but raspy thinks it indicates scum); I am more swayed by the tone of his posts; they indicate noob town frustration to me, based on my experiences with him in DTR mafia. Thing is, he didn't face any real pressure in that game from memory, so I cannot say if such a massive overreaction is in character or not. I am not confident he is scum, and I don't think much would be gained by lynching him; at best we can analyze the wagon and we can already do that without killing him.

I'd recommend people go have a look at the first few pages of DTR mafia (I just did), Wraith gets under a little pressure there and handles it better than he did here. Thoughts?

My bad.
What I wanted to ask you is: are you really sure it is ok for us to discuss too much Wraith's position before Pie's first posts?
I'd prefer him to focus on a fresh start rather than having him reading the whole thread through and realize he has got to gain everybody's trust or something like that.
You know, I feel like he's got enough pressure on him, but I'd avoid forcing him some useless direction.

I hope I have been able to express myself a bit better this time.

You know, the way he kept goin' on with his flavorgaming sounded a bit like "let's try to pass as noob" where I would have expected town to take a different stance, something like "ok, let's try to do something useful instead".

after half-asleep skimming this page I'm under the impression I replaced into a slot about to be lynched? awesome.

assuming I'm not lynched, btw, I'm going to be much less active this game. got a lot on my plate lately.

I think it's important to remember that Pie is replacing into the same role. The slips made by Wraith are still indicative of alignment for Pie. If anytying they are more important now that Pie is replacing in; we won't get that sort of slip from the much stronger player.

Didn't Pie basically do the same thing in DTR Mafia? The equivalent of a ragequit?

Yes; Wraith made an indirect reference to exactly that when self-voting. Do you feel that is indicative of something? When I read it, I thought it may have been Wraith trying to create the same impression (pretending to be frustrated Town); but on balance, I don't think Wraith has the mafia-skills to pull that off, so his writing reads as sincere to me.

Posted: Mon Jan 13, 2014 1:07 am

Do you feel that is indicative of something?
No, not really. I think he was just very frustrated and we were all telling him that his approach was wrong, and basically saying "L2P" the whole thread. I can imagine that's grating to someone who said they want to figure it all out on their own, regardless of alignment.

I was ready to move on to someone else except for that nagging suspicion that town wouldn't sit at L-1 for 3.5 hours unless scum is already on the wagon. It's hard to believe all 3 scum (I'm assuming 3 this game) were on a 6-player day 1 wagon, but of course it's possible.

Really just interested in what Pie has to say - hopefully he finds some time.

Posted: Mon Jan 13, 2014 1:26 am

You'd figure there was at least 1 scum on the wagon. I liked your earlier reasoning. I'm really busy the next few days, but i'd like to return to and continue that line of analysis; maybe we can at least reduce our suspect list a bit. Hopefully we'll have heard from Pie and Rezom by then.
