Your explanation made the most sense, sight unseen of an official ruling. There's the link. It specifically addresses the pointYeah... it doesn't work like that. WotC specifically said as much in their article when they spoiled Ephara.a shred-freak would count as 4 devotion towards activating Mogis. Seems fine to me.
This should be it.
of Hybrid mana towards Devotion. Y'all can stop guessing now.

Where's my goddamned trophy? The comparisons to Vexing Devil are really bad though, whoever posted the card disadvantage ratios to differentiate the two deserves a trophy. They could have threatened to leave for a few days instead, wouldn't that have been something?

redthirst is redthirst, fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse. He was the leader of the Fires of Salvation, the only clan I'm aware of to get modded off the forums so hard they made their own forums.
Degenerate? Sure. Loudmouth? You bet. Law abiding? No ****ing way.

Hey Doc, now that I see you're here...
Starting to lose my FoS letters on the shirt now, too. Its only the second washing but when I pulled it out of the dryer this morning the F started to peel. Give me a place where I can send you a few bucks via PM for a replacement + an additional shirt for a local D2R member? (Jabberwocky.) We're probably gonna ride to Atlanta together and he wants to feel included.
I believe he said he wants an XL.

Actually madding, if not for U-Devotion being "anti-red cards.dek" then Desecration Demon wouldn't be playable at all. The card, in abstract is terrible and if there were any other reasonable black 4 drop they'd rather play that. Competitive Magic isn't about making the biggest creature, it just needs to be bigger than what other people are playing; which is mostly 2/3s, 2/1s etc. DD is just the best card available. A card seeing play in a good deck doesn't make the card good.

I'm still here, despite my better judgement, because I'm compelled to help, even when it's spat back in my face.

Desecration Demon was beginning to appear in a ton of lists before rotation, Rock, Aristocrats, etc. The card has its place, and that place is currently in the formats best deck, and your reason is that... it's because of other cards in the meta. THE HORROR!Actually madding, if not for U-Devotion being "anti-red cards.dek" then Desecration Demon wouldn't be playable at all. The card, in abstract is terrible and if there were any other reasonable black 4 drop they'd rather play that. I'm only employed to write red deck articlesZem let's go through every card in Standard and judge them in a vacuum, this seems productive. Hey, maybe your next article can be about that.

And don't talk about Pip in that context again.

I usually refer to the Rockwell scale because the Rockwell test determines hardness by measuring the depth of penetration. I'm paraphrasing, of course.
That being said, I'm at a constant hardness of HRG 150.

Why? I'm contractually obligated. In GRR you seemed to invite such context, indeed you seemed disappointed that the vulgarity did not meet your expectations. And don't talk about Pip in that context again.Zem let's go through every card in Standard and judge them in a vacuum, this seems productive. Hey, maybe your next article can be about that.
