Galspanic, you guys are in the Kobayashi Maru (see Star Trek if you're not familiar with the concept):

The Kobayashi Maru is a test in the fictional Star Trek universe. It is a Starfleet training exercise designed to test the character of cadets in the command track at Starfleet Academy. In Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Dr. McCoy referenced the test as an example of the no-win scenario that he and Captain Kirk were facing

Basically writing more rules and policies will not help you escape the Kobayashi Maru. You can escape by taking the Ria route and self destructing your vessel and trying to hit everyone around you, taking the extremeicon route and vaporizing yourself from existence, or taking the King Spam route and joining the enemy Klingons because they are allowed to say naughty words and are bound by comradery rather than a bold title. Your current plan of staying the course and hoping the Klingons will
leave Federation Space is not working.

King Spam, Imma stop you there. You're crossing the line from threadshatting into ciwarrior and that is not a place I will let you go.
Stay strong, man. Don't forget your roots.
I like to think there are still rational and self critical people buried under their bloviating jargon and lame duck policies, which is why as a former friend and current "mean person" I am inclined to try and advise them.

Yes I know. That hope is important,
is critical, and it's what keeps us both going, I strongly feel. But trying to peel back the onion is only going to make everything smell and run the risk of tears.

The fuck did all these posts come from?

Also, nobody has noticed that Harkius is now making dossiers on everyone here, when he just grabbed his papers and waved them in everyone's face.

Oh, and I should totally get to host the next game of mafia.

That, and those 3D things Pendulum is making are kinda cool.

Idiot question of the day: What does GR*n stand for?

The Great and Holy GRRRRR is the name of the general staff spam thread on Sally and a different thread with the same essential name and function is also located here. "To GRRRR" is to make posts that resemble those generally saved for the thread of the appropriate title.

To further clarify, since Talore seems to have responded negatively to my statement that it was not a desirable posting style here, GR'ing is to be avoided in the public because it is inherently a private practice.. to GRR in public is a shameful thing: an attempt to hold oneself and others within the GRR-type conversation to higher privilege than you would treat another member of the public. It is isolationist, nude, and dismissive.

Which, btw, is exactly the type of posts that having a hidden or quasi-hidden Community Issues forum breeds most of the time.

Megiddo:
"Unfortunately I don't think I can help you with real-life butthurt. I would recommend some aspirin though, or perhaps a soft pillow to sit on.

If you find yourself internet butthurt, by all means feel free to contact me. I have a manual of "dealing with being mad on the internet" that I'd be willing to share with you.

I hope this helps. "

O.o

I must admit it though, in the middle of that idiocy clusterfuck, it was the lapdog who came up with the more elegant and streamlined system that fulfills their objective, which is to shut down criticism of the staff actions through faster suspensions.

I received a PM on Salvation that I assumed was some sort of infraction, but was actually someone agreeing with my last CI post.

"You're absolutely right about what you put in that CI thread. I think most of the moderation staff has severe mental problems.

And I say that as someone with moderate mental problems."

"This reform has been coming for two years," Galspanic, administrator of MTGSalvation confirmed. "We've had so many summits, though, that it took this long to finally propose the idea to the users at large. I'm glad it's finally happening so we can punish CI warriors and users who harass the staff by calling us thought police."

I... I do have to wonder, though, and I apologize for being the odd man out here, but what happened to that whole "if we get unbanned we aren't going to stir shit up anymore" thing from a few weeks ago?
Again, sorry, just trying to get a feel for the situation. :(

Well Guess they started to cry. they really need to stop with the fucking rule changes and making shit more complex. They cant even handle the older shit. What makes them think making it more complex will make the job easier.
