Lightning mauler there just to haste out reckoners?

Call me a scrub, but I almost think GHC fits better in that slot?

Day 30 of the Ham Challenge!!! I made it a whole month! Still don't know how much I weigh, but I feel better. Went on a field trip with my daughter yesterday and we had to walk a few miles. Didn't get winded once, and I have asthma. Saw some big cat tracks along the path we were walking. Probably mountain lion. The imprint was about the size of my hand balled up into a fist, and I have big hands. Like, palm a basketball without even trying big. The track was also really sunk in to the ground, meaning this was a BIG cat. Scary.

You know something's going right when you have to subcontract out your "feel goods" to other realms of conscienceness because there are too many of them.

Also... lulz:
Teia Rabishu has left the WCT Staff and moved to The Speakeasy.

Lightning Mauler is there to Haste whatever needs Hasting... usually himself and sometimes himself + 1 drop. It has the added benefit of making Azorious Charm sad.

That slot is still soft, though - I've considered GHC as well as going back to KoI, but 8 Haste dudes make my starts pretty explosive.

Too slow right now, but might be useful after rotation when the format slows down.

That said, UWR burn is now potentially a deck.

Might have been a format staple if it was 1RW. Then again it would be too powerful I think.

I wish Electrolyze would get reprinted.

I think in something like RW/x Midrange it'll compliment Spear or Mortars very well as a later-game removal spell that also buys you about a turn's worth of life.

I don't think it'll see play in any Aggro variants.

Isn't this something you'd want to see in Boros Bullies, Alex?

I have a terrible tendency to adopt the accent of anyone that I'm talking to. This could be trouble because my Australian accent is awful. I'll need to watch a bunch of Beached Az videos to brush up.

Z appreciates being mixed up with Kiwis, I think.

Just use Aussie words to make her feel comfortable.

Like "G'day" and "Strewth" - also, offer to fix her a vegemite sandwich at your place - you can always pretend you ran out if she takes you up on it.

I like the list, red. Looks consistent and fast.

Helix is relevant with all the 4-toughness creatures making appearances. For limited, it's decent instant-speed removal.

I am very tempted to get some Godless Shrines as some of the Orzhov cards like Blood Baron are pretty nice. They would also help with a Dega splash for Dos Rakis to help cast Reckoner and others. Thoughts?

I think the consensus was that shocks are going to plummet right when DGM is released? Or closer to it?

Shocks will drop in price with DGM, but they're not going to plummet to dollar rares.

Dodger will be buying the whole clan a playset anyway, don't sweat it.

May I ask how you came into such an influx of currency? Whatever you're doing, I obviously need to be doing it too. I'm eating a slice of bread for breakfast and It's likely to be lunch, as well.

You're not taking in to account the exchange rate between SoCal and Indiana.

$32,000 in Indiana is a year's worth of living high on the hog.
$32,000 in SoCal is a year's worth of eating Ramen in a Studio Apartment.

So it's really only like $5,000 of our moneys - which is still nice.

From what I was told by an LGS owner, every pack will come with a Gate instead of a basic land. From what he's heard, shocks will come in the Gate slot every so many packs, so they won't be in the rare slot and will actually be harder to find in the Dragon's Maze packs. Whether this is true or not I'm not sure, but I could imagine this would be the best case scenario for dealers.

They did say the shocks would be rarer in DGM packs, came from Wizards.com mouth.

Well I am an economist so I'll tell you all the truth: Shocklands will be worth $1.00 post DGM.

I'm also a good guy, though, so I'm willing to buy all y'all's for $2.00 each.

Eh, DGM will increase the supply, but not by a lot--we're talking two new shocks at most from a box. I think a drop may occur, but not a huge one. The demand continues to be high for most of them, so I don't see them falling too far.

Long story short, if you want them to play them now, I'd pick them up. If you're waiting on DGM cards, it won't hurt to see if there's a dip in prices. Also, foil shock prices have nowhere to go but up--they definitely won't be in DGM, something to consider if you're worried about holding value.

I also love that rather then helix, we get a helix'd lightning blast, what is wrong with the world anyway?

This is sadly true. The money is from when I worked for a shit employer who made us work 6 days a week and go to bi-monthly sales meetings after work, oh and we worked like 56 hours a week already. Plus at one point he paid me commission only on top of all that and there would be months where I would literally make like $1000 a month. So this is basically unpaid wages, money I should have already had. Still nice to get the influx though. Waiting for a call
from my attorney to confirm the check has arrived.

I have a handful of gay friends that you'd be afraid to touch. Its the only insurance I have.

So iunno, 2 trannies and a gay that's loyal to your cock? Whatever you feel comfortable with man, you don't gotta worry about me pulling anything when you're giving me money to get a place rather have to resort to making a cardboard shelter out of theses stomping grounds...

Besides, he may not support your pro-rape views, but he'll support your right to express them - just like he supports my expressions of blatant homophobia, racism, and sexism even though he's not particularly homophobic, racist, or sexist.

I got gay people too. They don't bother me... in fact, they're the only ones confident enough to admit to themselves that they want my junk.

I don't know any trannies, though.

Good afternoon, clansmen. I will be on sporadically for the the next coupla days...getting ready to pick my daughter up from school and head to Salina for the funeral. The final ruling as are as what's been released is accidental self-inflicted GSW after they boy's dad put a semi-auto 9mm in his hands and walked away from him to help his other son with another weapon. I haven't heard any details yet about what forensics turned up, but if the boy's dad isn't brought up on charges I will be astounded.

Senseless.

I will likely check in briefly from the hotel tonight. Best to you all, and to all the parents, hugs your kids once big from me.
